Also known as My Wife Is Too Alluring
Xia Mang was a hardworking corporate drone. Then one day, she was bound to a mysterious System and transported to ancient times, where she became a maid in the Duke's household.
'Ding! The System has issued a mission. Host, survive in the Duke's household!'
She was a corporate drone either way, so what did it matter where she worked?
Watch this modern employee reform ancient society and the workplace.
Bullied by her coworkers? She'll bring out a pair of stinky old socks!
A spoiled rich kid shows up looking for trouble? She'll curse him until he can't raise his head!
Someone badmouths the boss behind her back? She'll turn into a Gatling gun and see who has the bigger vocabulary!
No one could understand why a little maid like Xia Mang dared to be so outrageous.
Only Xia Mang knew that the Madam behind her was her rock-solid backer! She was the Madam's loyal lackey!
Then one day, the System issued a mission.
'Host, pursue the target, Qiao Yuandong, and make her happy!'
Xia Mang: !!! Hold on, man, I'm here to work, not sell myself!
Only then did she realize that this strange System was actually a real person in disguise, and that person was none other than Madam Qiao Yuandong's husband, who had died young!
What kind of person gives himself a pair of horns?
Seriously, Xia Mang could cry!
Qiao Yuandong was a renowned beauty and scholar in the capital. She joined the Duke's household at sixteen, only for her husband to die in battle on the very first day of their marriage.
A happy match turned into a tragic one, and overnight Qiao Yuandong became the laughingstock of the entire capital.
She mourned her husband for three years. The once carefree young woman grew as still as a pool of dead water, passing the seasons as she waited through a life without hope.
Then the Duke's household bought a little maid. The girl was unruly, ready to take on the world.
Qiao Yuandong saw that she was sincere by nature and considered taking the girl under her wing to teach her properly, then promoting her to be her younger brother-in-law's concubine.
And so the girl became Qiao Yuandong's personal maid.
Until one day, someone spoke badly of Qiao Yuandong, and the girl was ready to fight them over just that.
She was so full of life, like a bubbling spring, and she burst clumsily into that pool of dead water, sending ripples through it that could never be stilled.
Qiao Yuandong quietly abandoned the idea of making her a concubine. A little maid with no sense of decorum like that was better kept close by.
Then one day, Xia Mang suddenly noticed that her boss seemed to be looking at her strangely!
She began wondering if she'd caused another huge mess recently. She couldn't figure it out, but there was no harm in admitting fault first, right?
Xia Mang blinked her round eyes and sidled up to Qiao Yuandong ingratiatingly. "Madam, please forgive me this once."
The dignified and graceful Madam lowered her eyes, hiding the surging emotions in them.
"I can forgive you, but you have to agree to one thing."
"What?"
"How about letting me serve you this time?"
"?!!"
Note: Straightforward girl who fights back at anyone and everyone vs initially cold and heartless, later alluring and flirtatious.
The blurb says the love interest intends to make the protagonist her younger brother-in-law's concubine. This is a minor misunderstanding at the start, and it will be cleared up later.
Plenty of chapters already written, so feel free to start reading.
Both leads are virgins. One-on-one romance. A sweet little story.

New novel preview: Infinite Flow, They Say There's Poison in the Food
Over-the-top blurb:
The supernatural descended upon the world, spawning countless bizarre dungeons. Humanity's safe zones dropped to zero percent. The survivors could only keep clearing dungeons and collecting dungeon fragments to destroy the horrors within and reclaim their home.
In this struggle between humanity and the supernatural, devoted believers driven to despair would turn traitor, while timid cowards would find their courage again. The beings deemed most dangerous would ultimately become the gods who saved the world.
Absolute power has never been the problem. The problem is the people who wield it. If the gods do not love humanity, then the gods can be slain.
Everyday-life blurb:
The neighbors were mutating and her home was falling apart, but Tang Yu had noticed none of it. All her attention was focused on becoming the greatest chef in the world.
Focus is the only key to success.
Driven by her love of cooking, Tang Yu went further and further down the culinary path.
Dungeon [Midnight Meat Soup]: Tang Yu bravely brought the mutton soup she'd spent a week cooking to the proprietress, hoping to win her over with its flavor and become her apprentice.
The mutton soup won the proprietress's heart. Her face turned deathly pale, blood appeared at the corners of her mouth, and she was just about to mutate when she suffered a fatal heart attack. Tang Yu wept as she inherited the proprietress's estate.
Dungeon [Her Husband's Lies]: Tang Yu eagerly prepared a loving breakfast for her creepy, sinister "husband."
After taking one bite, her "husband" calmly said he was going to work. He still hasn't come back.
In the end, Tang Yu achieved her dream. Her cooking was so incredible that even the gods had to bow before it.
She was the fearsome ruler of Gluttony City, serving everyone a feast of unparalleled arrogance.
Note: Lots of original worldbuilding. I'm working on the detailed outline and have chapters saved up. Expected to start after October.
Female lead's mental state = totally unhinged
There is a couple, but the romance is light and not the main plot
Ensemble cast style
Mild horror, but all fear comes from insufficient firepower
Infinite flow, multiple dungeon worlds

Theme: Face yourself and refuse to get trapped in your own thoughts
The writing and plot in the early and middle stages are very good. It can be seen that the author was greatly influenced by the Dream of Red Mansions. I personally like it very much, but the emotion is a bit weak, but it has no impact at all. It is like reading another Little Red Mansions. In the early stage, the supporting characters such as the maid are very graphic and very immersive, but some of the later ones are a bit unsatisfactory, and the emotions are basically concentrated in the last part, which belongs to the kind of suppressed and explosive flow. Finally, I would like to tell the author that the deputy CP writes a large proportion of the space in the early and mid-term, but there is basically nothing to do later. If you want to write, you can write it all or not. The impact is not big anyway. I just saw that many people in the comment area are responsible for the author. I would like to mention it, and I hope you can see [Orange Sugar]
He was suppressed as soon as he came back, and he never came back with a counterattack! It's really embarrassing to modern people!
If this is the only choice, I think mother is more important.
Thanks for the limited fee, it's so sweet for me
This car is a little too clear to drive 🐶
How can Madam be so good!
I stayed up all night to finish reading it. It scared me to death. I thought Yuandong was going to be miserable for the rest of my life. The little bitter gourd scared me to death!!!
The author's writing is good and promising
