Instinctive Love

Blunt, feisty heroine x tough special police captain

She pursues him at first / second chance romance / size difference

1. Less than a week after Jiang Chuhe moves, she runs into the neighbor next door in the elevator.

She discovers that he’s a handsome man with broad shoulders and long legs, but he’s very aloof.

A few days later, Jiang Chuhe finds out the handsome, aloof man lives alone.

She also learns he’s single, so she makes the first move. It doesn’t take much effort before she manages to get together with him.

Once they’re dating, Jiang Chuhe discovers that he’s cold on the outside but warm on the inside, and whether it’s housework or in bed, he’s very good at what he does.

Just as she’s losing herself in his passion, she discovers that his identity is fake, and so is his name.

He only approached her because he suspected she was a contact for some organization.

When she finds him, she sees him dressed in a green military uniform and black boots, reaching out to her. “Hello, my name is Shao Jinnan.”

After he finishes explaining, Jiang Chuhe holds out her hand with unusual composure. “Congratulations, Officer Shao. Mission accomplished.”

She knows their relationship was fake, too.

2. To forget Shao Jinnan as quickly as possible, Jiang Chuhe leaves without saying goodbye.

She sees Shao Jinnan again a year later, at a friend’s bar.

She never expected that seeing him again would still make her heart race. In a panic, she grabs a man who’s been pursuing her for over half a year and smiles as she tells him, “This is my boyfriend.”

After that, Shao Jinnan won’t stop pursuing her.

At a party, a man kisses Jiang Chuhe without asking. She sees Shao Jinnan frozen in place in the distance, gripping his cup so tightly it’s almost crushed.

Later, Shao Jinnan blocks her way. Jiang Chuhe acts impatient and asks him, “Captain Shao, what crime do you suspect me of this time?”

For the first time, the battle-hardened man bows his head to someone. The corners of his eyes are red as he asks humbly, “Can you love me one more time?”

Shao Jinnan never lets his personal feelings interfere with a mission.

But that time, he knew he’d fallen in love.

His identity was fake, but his love was real.
