At a company team-building event, Wei Sang sang saw the man whose name she still didn’t know.

He was tall with long legs. He wore glasses, but they suited him perfectly, and he gave off an air of intelligence.

She lost a game, and her dare was to hug the first man who walked through the door.

It happened to be him.

It started raining just as the event ended.

He casually asked where she lived.

Wei Sang sang gave him an address, and he said it was on his way.

When they arrived, Wei Sang sang finally found the courage to ask his name.

“Yi Ming. Yi as in ‘easy,’ Ming as in ‘engrave.’”

After that, they crossed paths more and more often.

He always showed up to help her at the most unexpected moments, but otherwise didn’t treat her as anyone special.

Wei Sang sang couldn’t help falling for him, and felt that he might like her a little too.

But his hot-and-cold behavior kept her on edge.

After she got drunk one time, he walked her home.

Wei Sang sang took the initiative and kissed him.

After they got together, Yi Ming was still a workaholic, but he gave her most of his time outside work.

She thought their sweet relationship would last forever.

Then she overheard Yi Ming talking with another man.

“If I hadn’t covered for you back then, would I have been the one to take her home?”

“Would she have gotten the wrong idea and thought I liked her?”

So all that love had just been in her imagination. Their whole relationship had been one huge misunderstanding.
