I'll Sell [Redacted] to Keep You!

Anti-vice police officer x adult shop owner

Xiao Cheng was an ordinary police officer who had just started his new job.

His very first field assignment was a raid on a hotel with a veteran officer.

They caught someone, but another suspect got away.

Staring at the confiscated item, still stained with some unknown fluid, he frowned. "Uh, Captain, what do we do with this..."

The captain looked as if this happened every day. "Go to that pink adult store downstairs and ask the owner to check the purchase records and security footage. That should help us find the suspect."

Xiao Cheng: "..."

The inexperienced young officer hesitated for ages at the shop entrance before finally working up the courage to go inside.

The female owner seemed familiar with this whole process. She took one look at him and asked, "New here?"

Xiao Cheng: "..."

Owner: "Time, place, photo."

Xiao Cheng took out a photo of the item.

Owner: (glances at it) "Oh, brand XX, a new product from factory X. Easy to recognize. Someone did buy one here a couple of days ago. Wait while I check the receipt."

Even while helping with the investigation, the owner couldn't resist making a sales pitch. "Do you want to look at this...? Oh, you're not gay? Then how about this one? Anyone can use it!"

Xiao Cheng politely refused every single time, collected the evidence, and fled.

The owner's enthusiastic voice followed him out: "If nothing else, we have condoms. A wider selection of flavors than the supermarket next door! You really don't want a box?"

"No, thank you!!!"
