The Free Wind and the Organization's Slave

Just before she died, Kagura finally escaped her scumbag boss, Naraku, and gained the freedom she had long yearned for. With a heart at peace, she scattered on the wind.

She never expected that when she opened her eyes again, she would find herself in an unfamiliar era, her body shrunk down to that of a baby.

Who wouldn't be happy to get a free second life?

Taken in and raised by a kind old woman, baby Kagura keeps her demonic power under control and begins enjoying her new life of peace and freedom.

But the boy next door, who's been clinging to her since childhood, somehow grows up to become the Mafia boss!

Watching the scumbag boss sit in a gloomy office, smiling as he squeezes his subordinates dry, Kagura falls into thought. "Why does this scene feel so familiar?"

Word in the underworld is that the Port Mafia's unofficial consultant, the Wind Messenger, is incredibly powerful, having single-handedly wiped out countless small organizations and struck fear into all who hear her name.

The truth is...

"Kagura-chan~~~ Please help me out just this once~" Mori Ougai presses his hands together, eyes sparkling as he leans toward Kagura and begs.

Kagura presses her fan against him in disgust. "You're way too old to be acting cute. It's disgusting!"

Mori Ougai puts on a sorrowful face and pulls out a handkerchief to pretend to wipe away tears. "Boohoo, ever since Dazai-kun left with Oda-kun, things have gotten harder and harder for the organization. And now some vicious people are trying to provoke us..."

He is sad, helpless, and sighing. "Chuuya-kun is still away on a business trip. You're all I've got..."

Little Alice chimes in too. "That's right, that's right! Rintaro let Dazai-kun leave for Kagura-chan's sake, but Dazai-kun left behind so much work..." She starts choking up too. "Boohoo, Rintaro hasn't taken me out for cake in ages..."

The sight of that man and his ability taking turns fake-crying with their arms around each other is too painful to watch. Unable to bear it, Kagura turns and walks away.

The next day, the small organization that had provoked the Port Mafia is wiped out. Its base looks as if it had been ravaged by a tornado, with not a single building left intact.

In the Port Mafia's top-floor office, Mori Ougai looks at the report on the small organization in his hands and says with a smile, "Kagura-chan is still as softhearted as ever..."
