Two Words, and Ranpo Will Take Me In

Xu Mu the little rabbit had been in the laboratory for as long as she could remember. Daddy was always injecting her with one medicine or another.

Then Daddy died.

The little rabbit, clutching an urn of ashes, met a strange grown-up who smelled really nice all over.

The little rabbit's eyes lit up, and she clung to him pitifully.

Ranpo, who had just transmigrated in: ?

On a boring day with no difficult cases to solve, Edogawa Ranpo was so bored he decided to browse some even more boring mystery stories.

"Huh? A member of a terrorist organization gets caught up in a murder after riding a roller coaster? What a laughable plot."

"The target notices you while you're tailing them? What kind of third-rate detective are you? Is this the level of the Heisei Holmes?"

"What an absurd motive, what a ridiculous murder method. What is this, kindergarten make-believe?"

"...I overestimated it. Even in kindergarten, I couldn't come up with a plot this childish."

"And this is supposed to be a detective manga?!"

Ranpo said after watching the entire story at twenty times speed, skipping through it at a furious pace.

"Ding! Strong dissatisfaction detected in Host. Loading corrections..."

A strange voice suddenly appeared. The next second, he was transported from the Armed Detective Agency to an unfamiliar place, where a silly little kid stood before him.

Ranpo: ...

He decided to calm down by eating some snacks first, then blow up this illegal facility.

Ranpo didn't want to raise a child, but this kid was so stupid that he felt she might literally die of stupidity if he didn't balance things out with the brain of the world's greatest detective.

Little Rabbit: Daddy?

Ranpo: ...All right, all right. I'll give you a potato chip.

Well, it was just raising a child. Couldn't he earn enough by running a detective agency and taking cases like before?

Later, Xu Mu the little rabbit became a rich heiress.

Huh? Being a detective makes you that much money?

Ranpo: It takes a few tricks.
