After I Turned into a Zombie, My Ex-Husband Wanted to Remarry Me

Ye Qiu is a zombie who has retained his self-awareness.

He really wants to stay with his fellow zombies and live freely in the vast fallen regions.

But once again, he has been "rescued" and brought back to a survivor base.

Only because he still looks like a normal human.

Before he was infected, his family had arranged a marriage for him. The two of them had only met a few times, and there was not much affection between them.

The sudden apocalypse swept that relationship away.

The world had changed. To avoid the ability-users' next "cleansing operation," he stayed at the base and married someone as a temporary measure.

The base enthusiastically arranged his new match, a man with a fairly high-ranking position. Even his ex-husband, now a commander, was invited to the wedding.

Ye Qiu's appearance had changed a lot after he was infected. His uneasy heart slowly settled under the cold, unfamiliar gaze of his ex-husband.

Good. He didn't recognize me.

His new marriage prospect looked decent, but was a rotten person: he cheated, swindled him out of money, and even planned to murder him for the insurance payout.

Once the cleansing operation was over and the outside world was temporarily safe, Ye Qiu jumped out of a vehicle during a battle and put on a tragically heroic act.

But when he opened his eyes again, he didn't see his beloved zombie buddies. Instead, he was lying in the command room of an advanced combat vehicle.

His ex-husband was covered in wounds, his expression feigning ease.

"If you want to stay at the base, I suppose it isn't impossible. I can graciously marry you again."

Ye Qiu: "?"

After becoming a zombie, he seemed to have trouble understanding human speech.

So he put on a grateful expression, reminisced at length about their past, and made plans for a happy life together.

Then, that night, he jumped out of the vehicle for the second time.
