Reader advisory: A timid dog-trainer heroine with a few tricks up her sleeve. She can barely keep the dogs in check and put collars on them, but the big dogs often drag her along. Told in third person. The heroine has no pain sensation. The male leads cause her bad endings unintentionally, and their main goal is to torment their rivals. Male mad dogs fight wildly, dogs biting dogs until everyone's covered in fur, and the heroine is accidentally caught in the crossfire most of the time.
Maximum melodrama, maximum insanity, maximum Mary Sue harem fantasy.
Blurb:
I got transported into an American-style Mary Sue high school dating sim.
Now I'm a high school student in the US.
To get home, I spent my first playthrough acting like the male leads' biggest fan, diligently raising their affection levels. Victory was just around the corner, and then... I got hit and killed by a semi-truck.
The truck driver was one of the male leads.
I was baffled.
I thought I'd made some mistake in my strategy.
So, in the second playthrough, I kept playing the adoring fan, working even harder than before to win the male leads' affection.
In the end, the male lead whose affection was maxed out killed me with a chainsaw.
Blood soaked my hair.
In the third playthrough, I tried to avoid him, but I still died.
A male lead with an absurdly strong jealous streak poisoned me.
In the fourth playthrough, my throat was slit... In the fifth, I was stabbed to death...
The sixth... The Nth playthrough...
I died and came back to life, then came back to life and died again, endlessly reborn and returned to the starting point. There were no save points, the endings were beyond my wildest imagination, and I couldn't stay dead.
Is this really a dating sim!!!
In playthrough N+1, the System, arriving very late, woke me from where I was peacefully lying in my coffin and told me: Actually, you weren't transported into a dating sim. It was a horror game.
The monsters' love comes as scalding blood, cold knife points, and suffocating gunpowder smoke.
Death is how they express their love for you.
The higher their affection, the faster you die.
The true way to beat the game isn't to win anyone over.
It invites me to start over.
The goal is now [A Peaceful Life].
But the terrifying thing is that in this playthrough, the monsters remember everything from before!
[Through countless cycles, they searched in vain for your presence: "Where are you, you heartless person who abandoned me?"]
[The monsters are wandering... searching...]
[At last, the girl who was supposed to be gone from their memories returned before them.]
[The script you've been given is: The dead first love has returned.]
*The game's story is for adults, and the intimate scenes include supernatural horror elements. Some male characters' memories don't return all at once, but gradually. This is a romance, friends. The men are strong and the heroine is weak. All the male leads are virgins, and everyone is fixated on men. They're a bunch of hopeless romantics. Basically, all the characters in this story are at least a little mentally ill. The logic is a tangled mess, and there's a lot of group sex.
*Healthy love is certainly delicious, but unhealthy love is just so much tastier.
*The heroine is mixed-race. The male leads may have originally been human, but there's a very high chance they'll become nonhuman as the story progresses. The author is a bottom, and everyone gets treated equally.
*Set in a fictionalized America. Treat it as a parallel world. The setting is only borrowed, and isn't meant to be historically accurate.
Warning: The worldline and various fictional systems have been altered for the sake of the plot.
