A Broke Guide in the Restricted Tower

I suspect I've transmigrated into some kind of 18+ restricted novel.

The main characters are the high-and-mighty S-Class dragonfolk Sentinels and Guides all around me, along with the countless higher-ups whose names I can't even keep track of.

And me, your friend, am just an unlucky, broke NPC who rides a drafty bus, chews on worm-based nutritional paste, and does the most menial work.

A cog in the main characters' playtime at work.

I work myself to death for a whopping three grand.

At work, a serious place of business, I can see a blushing fox Sentinel with his clothes in disarray one moment,

then turn around and see the captain of the neighboring unit asking me on a shopping app whether a lip piercing would look good on him, and whether it'd be sexy.

What does a 500,000-yuan lip piercing have to do with me, a C-Class Guide making three grand a month?

The broad-minded captain carefully explains: It's not a lip piercing. It's an O-ring.

Me: ...

What does a 500,000-yuan O-ring have to do with me, who earns three grand a month?!

I just turn around to grab a report and take the elevator.

And before I know it, I've caught a glimpse of the Administrator's pants riding low enough to show his hip lines, and the blond instructor's pink neckline reflected in the elevator doors.

At his desk, the Administrator looks exhausted and asks me to grab his waist and use my meager mental energy to soothe his spirit animal. That's bad enough, but then he even asks me:

"Ye Shanyi, don't you have any ideas of your own?"

I say, Administrator, I do. The Administrator asks what kind.

I say, since you've drained me dry, could you give me a raise?

Administrator: .

I'm Ye Shanyi. The place where I work is called the White Tower, a great organization tirelessly dedicated to the continuation of human civilization.

Just kidding. Humanity's probably doomed this time!

* Guides are extremely precious
