[This story has serious flaws in how its plot threads connect, and by around chapter forty, almost nobody was still following it. When I outlined it, I planned for this to be an extremely long novel. The 300,000 words posted so far are less than one-sixth of the whole story, and continuing would not improve things at all. But I don't want an unlock icon to appear on my column, so irresponsibly, I've decided to put it on a monthly update schedule and lock it.
I agonized for a long time over whether to unlock the story or keep forcing myself to write. If I continued, no one would read the rest, and the awkward connections between plot points made writing a struggle for me, too. So I thought unlocking it would be the cleaner choice. But before sending my editor the request, I reread the detailed character profiles I'd written for every major character, and I still couldn't bring myself to let them go.
After giving it a lot of thought, I still want to try to give the characters a satisfying ending. So I've decided to completely rewrite and overhaul the entire 300,000-word novel, using a different approach to connect and advance the plot. I'm currently serializing another novel, The Fuzzy Ones' Wasteland Farm. As soon as it's finished, I'll start the rewrite. I sincerely apologize to all the readers who've been looking forward to this story, and I sincerely thank you for your trust and patience. If you're still interested in Song Yunzhou and Hades's story, you can add it to your collection and come back after the rewrite is finished. Bowing deeply!
The gong's human form appears in Chapter 70.

[Synopsis]
Song Yunzhou transmigrates by accident to a Western fantasy continent, where he becomes a temporary worker at the Sacred God's Orchard.
On his very first day, he unexpectedly finds an adorable little tiger cub.
Song Yunzhou loves all things fluffy, so he ignores the orchard administrator's astonishment, takes the cub in, and even thoughtfully makes it a collar.
Watching the fluffy little thing sleeping soundly curled up beside him, Song Yunzhou smiles until his eyes crinkle. Unable to resist, he pulls the cub into his arms, plants a big kiss on it, and buries his face in its fur again and again.

The Sacred God has been dormant for a long time. Only when enemies invade does his consciousness finally awaken.
The Sacred God wields a staff blazing with light. His golden hair falls loose over his shoulders, and his white robes trail to the ground. He is peerlessly handsome, with a pair of wings woven from golden light, shimmering in a dazzling array of colors.
After driving off the enemy, Hades instinctively reaches out to help Song Yunzhou up from the ground.
But Song Yunzhou doesn't react at all. He just stares blankly at the fair neck of the man before him.
There, around it, is the collar he made for the tiger cub with his own hands. His name is written on it.
Song Yunzhou panics: How am I supposed to convince the Sacred God that he insisted on wearing this around his own neck?!!!
*
Later, the golden-haired beauty lies in Song Yunzhou's arms, playing with the nameplate on the collar between his fingers.
Song Yunzhou turns his eyes away, looking uncomfortable. "I didn't know the cub was you back then."
Hades gazes steadily into Song Yunzhou's amber eyes, his own filled with amusement. "Once I put it on, I became yours. You have to love me forever."
Before Song Yunzhou can respond, Hades gives his collar a gentle tug. The moment Song Yunzhou lowers his head, Hades tilts his own up and kisses him.

Upcoming Western fantasy novel: After Mistaking the Cub, I Picked Up the Demon King
[Flirtatious-but-unaware, gentle, beautiful dark elf shou × scheming, obsessive unicorn demon king gong]
Lamier transmigrates into a Western fantasy novel as a disposable villain.
In the original story, the protagonist is a heaven-blessed prodigy, the strongest in both talent and magic. At a young age, he wins first place in the magic tournament held by the greatest academy, defeats countless villainous demon kings intent on destroying the peace, and ultimately becomes an admired figure across the entire continent.
As a young, disposable villain himself, Lamier can't bring himself to oppose a potential star like the protagonist. All he wants is to cling to the protagonist's coattails.
According to the timeline, the protagonist is also still a child.
Firmly believing that it's best to get close to the protagonist while they're both young, Lamier travels a great distance to join him, only to arrive just as the protagonist is being driven from his home by his own people, accused of being a bringer of disaster.
After Lamier goes to extraordinary lengths to drag the protagonist out of a garbage heap, battered and broken, utterly disillusioned and waiting to die, he can't help but stare in shock.
Where's that huge protagonist's halo?!
*
There is no helping it. Lamier has to make a living with the protagonist by his side.
The two cubs clear a small patch of wasteland and grow vegetables, build a home of their own, run errands, deliver letters, and take odd jobs, saving every silver coin they can.
Lamier understands the value of investing. Every bit more love he gives now is one more step toward being able to lie flat and live easy on the protagonist's success in the future.
So even though he's still growing himself, he gives all the meat from his bowl to the protagonist and watches eagerly as he eats every last bite.
At last, they've saved enough for school fees. Lamier eagerly awaits the protagonist's chance to shine in the tournament watched by the whole continent, but instead, the protagonist summons an evil artifact and defeats his opponent with ease.
In the original story, this artifact is connected by blood to the most powerful villain of all, the great Demon King.
As Lamier gazes at the demonic energy spreading across the sky and at the "protagonist," eyes bloodshot as he stares at him from within it, he belatedly realizes:
Oh no. It seems he got the wrong person...
At this point, all he can do is make a quick escape!

When Eryon was young, a wizard glimpsed his fate and said he would become a vile Demon King, destined to be defeated by the protagonist born alongside him.
At first, Eryon didn't believe it. But the wizard's prophecy came true, one event after another, until he was on the verge of death, abandoned by everyone.
Lamier's arrival was also part of the prophecy. Driven by a heart full of hatred, Eryon set out along the path fate had laid for him. He deliberately impersonated the protagonist and let Lamier rescue him.
At first, Eryon didn't care that Lamier was looking at someone else through him. He only needed Lamier's help to heal his wounds. Then he would repay kindness with betrayal, use Lamier's life to temper the artifact, master forbidden magic, and do what a Demon King was meant to do.
Even in his dreams, Eryon saw Lamier on his knees, begging for mercy. But as time passed, Lamier was still crying and pleading in his dreams, only now the scene had moved from the battlefield to the bed.
His unspeakable desires grew harder and harder to control. Almost impatiently, Eryon revealed his true self, as if inflicting pain on himself while waiting to see Lamier's face twist with fear and disgust.
Then he could imprison Lamier somewhere he could see no one but him, and do so with every justification.
He never expected Lamier to grab his hand and run away with him.
*
Busy trying to help his childhood friend escape the real protagonist's pursuit, Lamier doesn't notice Eryon's eyes growing slightly red as he watches him walk away, or the uncontrollable curve of his lips.
His eyes are filled with possessive desire.
