Coming soon: The Civet Cat Empress

[First person, BE]

"An old friend is like a star: once in your gaze, never to be extinguished."

*

As Empress Zhao Jingyan lay on her deathbed, she looked back on her life. She felt she had done right by her empire and people. Her only regret was having failed to return someone's love.

But after her death, she found herself in a parallel world, where none of the upheavals had happened yet.

Zhao Jingyan's consciousness had attached itself to a tabby cat. Though she could not speak, the person she loved, who was still alive, took her home.

Could things turn out differently this time...

A few things to know:

1. [The main story is in first person, BE.]

2. In the parallel world, the heroine remains a cat forever. She will never turn human, much less speak human language.

3. This is an alternate-history setting with countless original details. Nothing is meant to be historically accurate.
