A Guide to Raising the Fake Young Master

Nan Ke awakened to the truth: in the book, he was a young master raised in luxury.

It wasn't until Chen Quexing appeared that he learned he was actually the child who had been switched at birth.

His parents hadn't abandoned him, but they felt guilty toward Chen Quexing and couldn't help favoring him.

Nan Ke's personality had already been spoiled, though. After hearing his parents reprimand him again and again with, "Can't you be a little more sensible, like your older brother?" he finally broke down emotionally, climbed onto a skylight, and fell to his death.

Nan Ke recalled the story with lingering fear.

Thank goodness. According to the plot, Chen Quexing wouldn't appear for nearly two more years.

"Let me introduce our new transfer student, Chen Quexing. Let's give him a warm welcome!"

Nan Ke felt terribly wronged. He couldn't stand the sight of Chen Quexing and just wanted to stay far away from him, but Chen Quexing stuck to him like glue and wouldn't leave him alone.

Everyone at Huanan High knew Chen Quexing was a troublemaker who often got into fights outside school. But then...

When Nan Ke wanted almond pastries, Chen Quexing rode his bike 25 kilometers there and back to buy them.

When Nan Ke wanted a drink, he filled a bottle halfway with hot water and bought another bottle of cold water, just so Nan Ke could drink it right away.

Nan Ke didn't like being out in the sun, so Chen Quexing carried a sun umbrella everywhere, even to PE class.

If Nan Ke wanted a ten-yuan popsicle and Chen Quexing only had ten yuan, Chen Quexing would rather go without a meal than refuse him.

Every little thing he did made Nan Ke feel unbearably guilty.

At last, Nan Ke worked up the courage to tell Chen Quexing the truth.

But just as he opened his mouth, Chen Quexing slipped a piece of fruit candy into it.

"Good boy." Chen Quexing's lips curled into a smile. "I'm doing just fine now."

"But..." Nan Ke struggled to push the candy aside with his tongue, trying to tell him the truth.

"Young master, I don't care that much about where I come from," Chen Quexing said.

Before being reborn, Chen Quexing was taken back to the Nan family.

He took one look at the young master of the Nan family and was immediately smitten. The boy was fair and adorable, with clear, dewy doe eyes that made his heart race and always made him want to bully the little guy a bit.

So one day he'd tug on the young master's hair, the next he'd secretly drink his milk, and the day after that he'd hold up the young master's homework and mischievously refuse to let him do it...

Young love is always recognized after the fact.

Reborn, Chen Quexing only wants to pamper this young master.

His background, the love his parents gave him so belatedly: none of that matters. As long as he can see Nan Ke, everything is fine.
