I Came Out for My Brother

1.

Ruan Guichen's twin brother fell in love after starring in a danmei adaptation. His boyfriend was none other than Xue Tan's twin brother.

Whenever they appeared together, the solo fans would viciously accuse them of playing up a fake romance. But no matter how carefully they avoided looking close, the CP fans, armed with their eight-times magnification lenses, could find evidence that they were in love.

After being called in for the 10,086th talk with their company, the two finally made a momentous decision:

Have Ruan Guichen and Xue Tan take their places and go on the promotional tour.

Ruan Guichen: ?

Xue Tan: ?

2.

Xue Tan looked at him coolly. "We weren't close to begin with. Just act naturally."

Ruan Guichen nodded. "That's what I was thinking too."

At their first event together, the CP fans were astonished to discover that the brother, who had always been bold and flirtatious, had suddenly become slow-witted and adorably sweet.

Meanwhile, the younger twin, usually quiet and reserved, had turned into a walking jealousy machine.

He practically wanted to stick a privacy screen over his brother, so only he could look at him.

At their last event together, Xue Tan looked at Ruan Guichen as if casually asking, "Will we get to see each other again?"

Ruan Guichen replied smoothly, "I'm looking forward to working with you again, too."

Xue Tan was unhappy. "I'm not asking you. I'm asking you."

Ruan Guichen stared at him for a long moment. "...We're live."

CP fans: ? Am I jealous of myself???

The media lay in wait for three days and three nights before finally capturing evidence of the Xue-Ruan CP entering and leaving an apartment together.

Wait...

Why are there two couples?!

3.

Later, Ruan Guichen brought this up while having dinner with his brother.

Ruan Guichen: "I can't believe the two of us got together because of such a bizarre coincidence."

His brother smiled. "Not necessarily."

Ruan Guichen was puzzled. "Why not?"

His brother took a leisurely sip of wine. "Because Xue Tan was the one who suggested it in the first place."

Ruan Guichen: ???

The top: love at third sight, calculating, hypocritical, when have you ever seen him smile except around Ruan Guichen? x The bottom: love grown over time, adorably sweet, slow to catch on, Xue Tan, that jerk, tricked me into going public when he knew I didn't understand any of this, naturally tsundere.

Theme: Perseverance leads to success.
