Will the Demon-Slaying Boy End Up on the Red-and-Black Set?

A young man returns to the island nation in pursuit of demons, only to discover that the country has changed beyond recognition since he left.

Even amid the neon lights of modernity, the boy has only one goal: to slay every last demon.

The modern-day demon-slaying tale of a boy named Kibi no Hiko no Mikoto begins!

Let's hear from some of the people who got caught up in it:

Mr. Kaze X, who wishes to remain anonymous: Yes, I saw a demon the very first time we met! I even heard his dog talk!

Mr. Kudo X: At first I thought he was a fan of Momotaro, but it turned out to be so much more than that!

Mr. Amuro X: I thought he was a dangerous person, but after working with him, I found out the kid really does have demons on the brain.

Through the well in front of his old home, Kibi no Hiko no Mikoto returned to a time more than a hundred years in the past. His home was still nowhere to be found on Okayama Mountain, but demons still existed in that era, so the boy continued his mission.

Once everything was over, he returned to the present through the well.

His partners were waiting to celebrate his victory. The criminal organization had been successfully wiped out, and a little boy told him he no longer needed to kill demons. He could go to school and live here, making it his new home.

But Kibi no Hiko no Mikoto refused.

"I have to find the home my brother and I shared."

With those words, he left with his dog.

* The entire police academy crew survives in this story.

* The protagonist travels between Detective Conan and Demon Slayer.

* The protagonist kills demons from beginning to end.

* The protagonist isn't an original character, but there are lots of personal headcanons, and reading the original manga isn't recommended.

* The characters are very out of character, and the writing is terrible.

Theme: When will you finally do something for yourself? You, who long for recognition, are only engaging in meaningless slaughter. Can you find anything beyond gratitude and fear amid all that bloodshed?
