[Demon Slayer | Watch Party] The Nameless Supplicant

[Caught up]

* Giyu-centric.

* Original content reaction fic.

* All Giyu pairings are platonic, with only Rengoku/Giyu and Tanjiro/Zenitsu having slight romantic undertones; all others follow canon pairings.

Late at night, a trio, the Hashira, and the Master are gathered by an unknown presence in a fantastical space. There, they see a screen showing another world.

The screen peers into the lives of their counterparts in that world, revealing a terrifying secret.

A cool, black-haired, blue-eyed young man falls into the depths of the sea, burdened by pain and despair. The dreams in his heart become reality, yet are as absurd as a fleeting illusion. Demons still haunt the new age, and the responsibility of carrying on the legacy remains. If everything had changed from the very beginning, how would fate have unfolded?

Beneath the drizzling rain, a story like dew and lightning.

The first act ends, and the Hashira return to the real world.

Tomioka Giyu stops a blade from reaching his neck, and wonders deeply whether he has upset Shinazugawa again somehow. Why else would he be greeted with a killing blow the moment they meet?

Then everyone tells him: There's no need to hide it. Just reveal this secret everyone already knows at the Hashira meeting.

Tomioka Giyu: ?

I'm terrible at writing blurbs, and I'm not very satisfied with this one. I might revise it later.

.

* I don't particularly like original hosts, so I won't be writing one (squirm)

* I love reading comments, so please leave one after reading, w

* It might be best to read the author's notes. I'll explain some of the settings there, ww

* My writing is average, and my ability to plot is garbage.

* This is my take, with lots of headcanons.

* If you ask why I took so long to post this here, all I can say is that the white dumpling annoyed me too much (closes eyes)

Theme: Pain can break the spine, but can a person always remain standing tall?
