Shiyu loves fishing. One day, as she fishes by the river as usual, a hole suddenly appears in the sky and sucks her in.

When she wakes up, Shiyu finds herself in Teyvat, where she has become a member of the Fatui.

Well, that came out of nowhere.

But even after transmigrating into a Fatui, nothing can stop her from fishing! So thinks Shiyu as she heads to the lake with a fishing rod in hand.

Unfortunately, as a member of the Fatui, she is unwelcome in six of the seven nations. Whenever people see her fishing, they assume she's plotting some evil scheme and come to stop her.

Shiyu: Don't come over here! You're scaring the fish away!

With no other choice, she has to sneak off to fish.

Which makes her look even more suspicious.

Later, everyone in Teyvat realizes this strange Fatui really does just want to fish, and that she looks genuinely happy when she's at it.

Everyone: This Fatui is so pure and unpretentious, unlike the others!

It's just that she's so slow at fishing she can't catch even one fish in half a day.

Everyone: Let us help you!

"Jumpy Dumpty!"

"Earth-Shaking Tremor."

"Freeze!"

"Smoke and Mirrors!"

Shiyu: Hey, hey, hey! No cheating! Everyone grab a fishing rod and patiently catch fish the proper way!!!
