[Seven Heroes and Five Gallants] Blades and Swords Ask of Love

[New Zhan Zhao Fanfic, "When I Met You in My Youth," now updating. Feel free to add it to your collection!]

Ding Yuehua, the young lady of the Ding family, has been very troubled lately because Bai Yutang, that fellow, refuses to accept that Zhan Zhao was given the title of Imperial Cat and plans to go to Kaifeng Prefecture to challenge him.

That, at least, is no big deal.

But before leaving, Bai Yutang actually stole her family's treasured sword!

She can't put up with that!

The Ding family's ancestral sword is called Zhanlu. Legend has it that it was forged by Ou Yezi during the Spring and Autumn Period, and that it can slice through iron like mud and cut even a hair with a breath.

The Ding family treasures it so much that they can't bear to use it themselves, yet Bai Yutang went and stole it!

What outrageous behavior! She has to make him return the sword!

But when she found Bai Yutang, he said he hadn't stolen the sword.

Lies! That's definitely a lie!

Whether he's lying or not, she'll fight him first and ask questions later!

Ahem.

Ding Yuehua paused, her hand on her sword.

Did someone just cough twice?

The man who had coughed twice, who had been named the Imperial Cat by His Majesty, whose surname was Zhan and given name Zhao, courtesy name Xiongfei, who was known as the Southern Hero, and who served as a fourth-rank armed guard at Kaifeng Prefecture, looked at her and Bai Yutang and said, "The two of you, please remain calm. Come with me to Kaifeng Prefecture for a talk. Lord Bao has been waiting for you for quite some time."

The pairing is Ding Yuehua x Zhan Zhao. Bai Yutang will not die.

The characters' personalities differ from the original.
