Only the Living Have the Right to Play Tennis

Thanks for the invite. I'm in a two-dimensional world, just got hit by a truck, and I'm binding to a system.

Quan Qianxia (a professional tennis player in life, a rising star and prodigy in the tennis world): So you're saying that all I have to do is play tennis against a bunch of middle schoolers and win the national championship to come back to life in this world for good?

System: Yes.

Quan Qianxia (rolling up her sleeves): It's just tennis. I know this stuff!

System: We've prepared a classic pool of overpowered characters from the two-dimensional world for you...

Quan Qianxia (waving confidently): No need!

Quan Qianxia (bone age fifteen): I stake my nineteen-year career on this. I'll beat these high schoolers until they're begging for mercy!

Quan Qianxia (lying in a hospital bed after playing Ryoma): 6

Quan Qianxia: System, is that pool still available? I'll try a draw.

After checking the records of all the schools, Quan Qianxia: Holy crap, Rikkai has won two years in a row. I'm definitely going to Rikkai! Gotta do what it takes to stay alive.

System, which had gone out of its way to place her near Seigaku: ...

The System, unable to spoil anything, could only watch its Host set off down the road to Rikkai.

Quan Qianxia at first: There's no way I'm using cheats. Not in this life. That would be an insult to my abilities!

Quan Qianxia later: That's right, I have a ton of cheats, and I'm proud of it. What are you gonna do about it?

Breathing techniques, activate!

Sharingan, activate!

Domain, activate!

Activate! Activate! Activate! Activate! Activate!

Come on! Let's hurt each other!

At this point, it's hard to tell whether they're fighting people or playing tennis.

At long last, Quan Qianxia finally drew the supernatural ability she'd wanted from the start.

"No Longer Human, activate!"

Blue-glowing characters drifted around her. As Quan Qianxia's black hair fluttered, she suddenly realized there was a serious problem.

No Longer Human only works when she makes physical contact with her opponent.

But on a tennis court, there's no way to touch the other player.

Quan Qianxia: Fuuuuuck!

It's completely off the rails. At this point, it's hard to tell whether they're fighting people or playing tennis. Again.

She follows the Rikkai route, with Yukimura as the pairing. It's the losing-match-and-meeting-in-the-hospital combo (?!)

I only know a little about tennis, but I love writing matches, so mistakes are only natural.

There are lots of headcanons, and some skills will appear early. I've also moved everyone to the high school stage. Following the original timeline would mean fifteen-year-olds with twelve-year-olds, which is a bit alarming, everyone...

Quan Qianxia is a tennis star who's been doted on since childhood. Basically, she's very proud and very tsundere. That's all.

That's it. Hope you enjoy reading!
