[Genshin Impact] I Told You, I'm Not Here for Shikanoin Heizou!

[A heads-up: Don't follow or read this. I'm still writing it purely because my compulsion not to abandon a story won't let me quit.] My name is Cannele, a Fontaine native temporarily living in Inazuma. On my way to Yae Publishing House, I stumbled into a bizarre case. And was forced to watch a little mystery show. Me: Hello? I really was just passing by. This self-proclaimed detective was the main reason I failed to hand in my manuscript this time. It absolutely wasn't my own fault. Absolutely not. * "What! So you're Shikanoin Heizou?" I stared at this smug detective, doubting everything. The inspiration for my favorite character turned out to be someone I couldn't stand! So annoying! I'm Shikanoin Heizou, a detective with the Tenryou Commission. At Yae Miko's invitation, I adapted some of my own experiences into a light novel, and it unexpectedly became quite popular. Yae Miko even found me a partner. I write, and she draws. The artist is a very cute person. * I saw my partner at a crime scene. Yep, definitely a very cute person. * Can you hear Cannele crying out: "The one I stan isn't Shikanoin Heizou, it's Kobe!" Shikanoin Heizou: "Mm-hmm, but Kobe is me." This was written before Fontaine was released in Genshin Impact, so it may differ from the actual game's setting. The main story should be in third person. There are some made-up cases and some rather silly deduction logic. Don't take it too seriously. Heizou is definitely smarter than me, but this is the best I can manage QAQ. The setting is pretty vague, so just go along with whatever I make up. Some inspiration came from Jun Kurachi's The Variations: The ABC Murders. The heroine is the illustrator of the light novel Detective Kobe and an avid stan of its protagonist. The arrogant, haughty young lady Cannele x Shikanoin Heizou. *The cover was made by a friend. Search for Bingming Sanlang on this site to find them, though that pigeon has been ghosting us for a year. That's all. May your wishes never go off-banner! Theme: Don't make choices on someone else's behalf.
