Is It Right for a Cute Idol in Women's Clothes to Switch to Volleyball Spiker?

Ashina Saiha is male, and a female idol.

Oh, sorry, I forgot one thing: he's retired, because he... lost his memory.

#Kawai Minami (minami) ends idol career#

Kawai Minami, who was practically the world's number-one idol, announced her retirement at the peak of her popularity.

After that, the girl idol's presence vanished completely. No matter how thoroughly her fans searched, they couldn't find a single clue about her whereabouts.

At the thought of never seeing the adorable Miss Minami again, never hearing her energetic songs, never seeing that dazzling blonde girl shining onstage, countless fans couldn't help but break down in tears.

"Minami-chan really retired just like that... Minami-chan, where did you go?!"

On a street corner, a fan wailed at the news on his phone, not knowing that the "Minami-chan" he was calling for, Ashina Saiha himself, had just walked right past him.

With his neat black hair and utterly ordinary men's clothes, Ashina Saiha, once the perfect idol, uncomfortably rubbed his neck.

Honestly, he wanted to know where Minami-chan had gone, too.

It was as if the soul of that idol had been pulled out of him. Ashina Saiha had forgotten everything about performing onstage over the past year.

Then the bewildered, amnesiac Ashina Saiha was drawn to the group from Fukurodani playing volleyball by the roadside.

"Come play volleyball. It's really fun," Bokuto enthusiastically invited him on their first meeting.

And just like that, Ashina Saiha's life was ruined (not really).

Fukurodani's new wing spiker is downright terrifying.

On his first day with the team, he dared to challenge senior Bokuto. He went from knowing nothing to playing volleyball in three days, and mastered advanced techniques as soon as he tried them.

The Fukurodani team looked at him like he was a monster.

He might not remember any of it, but never underestimate a world-class idol who once sang live for two hours at a concert in a wig, full makeup, and heels. Ashina Saiha glanced sideways and smiled easily. "I learned it back home."

He learned it back home with his childhood friend Suna.

It would have been nice if his dear childhood friend hadn't immediately threatened him with pictures of Minami.

Also known as Amnesiac Volleyball (?). Some of the setting is inspired by watching Oblivion Battery.

More matches than everyday life. Saiha goes from idol to wing spiker, then to opposite hitter.

That's all. Enjoy reading!
