After Sending My Resume to My Blind Date

Lu Li is a moderately well-known artist on K Station.

Her serialized comic went on hiatus right before the leads confessed their feelings. Her inspiration had gone missing for half a month, with no sign of coming home anytime soon.

She didn't dare open her editor's chat, afraid the flames of the update reminders would burn her butt any second.

Help! Somebody help!

Lu Li called on her older sister, whose love life was sweet and career was thriving. She didn't expect her sister to raise an eyebrow and toss out a single line.

"The only way to know is to try it."

Lu Li silently opened her WeChat contacts and scrolled all the way to page five before finding the first chat with an unmarried man who wasn't a relative.

Academic adviser: [OK] Happy graduation!

Help, help, help!

She'd graduated a year ago!

The most sociable man in the life of super-introvert Lu Li was the neutered tomcat in her apartment complex.

If you could still call it a tomcat.

Well, it had come to this. Time to go on a blind date.

During dinner, the red wineglass on the table suddenly shattered, and she offered Lu Xingzhao a handkerchief.

The moment their fingertips touched, Lu Li heard two voices.

"Thanks."

Lu Li: Huh?

She blinked. It sounded a lot like Lu Xingzhao, but obviously no one could say two things at once.

Just as Lu Li thought she'd heard wrong, the voice grew even clearer.

She was certain it was Lu Xingzhao's voice.

Lu Li scratched her cheek and secretly watched Lu Xingzhao's tightly closed lips.

It seemed like something strange was forcing him to get her personal information right away.

Lu Li couldn't figure it out, so she decided to test him.

She sent Lu Xingzhao the resume she'd used to look for an internship in college.
