[Light Adventure + Development + Management + Farming]
Luo Chen transmigrates as a newborn wind elf.
The good news: he never has to deal with endless overtime again!
The bad news: he's in danger from the moment he is born!
Luo Chen watches the people fighting in the forest, speechless. If you're going to fight, fine, but could you at least do it somewhere else?
And you, the one throwing fireballs, this is a forest!
Almost singed by a fireball, Luo Chen stands in the forest in disarray, still shaken and on the verge of tears. Could things have started any worse?
But that's not all. Even worse, he meets a beautiful snow elf who's just as useless as he is.
The two helpless elves could lose their lives at any moment in the mountains, so they band together to survive and settle in a border town, keeping their identities secret.
Before long, the rickety, old, shabby Frostwind Waystation creaks open its doors.
Cold-chain logistics, food delivery, letters: you name it, they deliver it to your door.
Feriniel packs and freezes the goods, sorts them, and puts them in a storage ring.
Luo Chen turns into a gust of wind and sets off on a delivery.
"Sir! Your parcel has arrived!"
"Your express letter will be there in thirty minutes!"
"Miss, your takeout is here. Enjoy it while it's hot!"
"Hello..."
At first, no one believed an old, run-down waystation could deliver anything efficiently.
Then Nia, who was training in the mountains by hunting magical beasts, sent a birthday letter that arrived in her friend's hands in another city just two hours later...
A girl in a hurry to send medicine to her family had barely finished paying when it was delivered to them in less than ten minutes!
A merchant who wanted to send local specialties to a friend far away placed an order in the morning and received a return gift that afternoon!
And when a passing noblewoman on a whim ordered a meal for delivery, it really did arrive on time in another city, still piping hot!
Even mages with all kinds of magical artifacts couldn't resist placing orders. "The courier service is fast and convenient. Why not use it? And it's much cheaper than making magic scrolls!"
Hearing that, mages flocked to the waystation! They scrimped on everything every day, and now they could save even more money for other magical materials!
While everyone else rode magical beasts over mountains to deliver letters and parcels, Luo Chen had already completed ten deliveries as a gust of wind.
"Impossible!" cried the president of a famous merchant guild, clutching his beard. "Our finest vulture-riding couriers need at least three days to get from the snowy mountains to the royal capital!"
With his hood concealing his features, Luo Chen calmly stamped the parcel with a wind-magic seal. "Please sign for your delivery. Thank you."
As the number of deliveries grew, Luo Chen found a lost community of wind elves, as well as former followers of the God of Ice and Snow, and brought them all into the business.
The waystation was renovated, transforming from a shabby old shack into a thriving business with a growing reputation.
Years later, Frostwind Logistics was known everywhere. Frostwind sailing ships set out across the sea, and Frostwind Trading Company had branches all over the continent...
No one could have guessed that the rickety Frostwind Waystation would become a legend that changed the history of transportation across the entire continent.
Standing atop a snowy mountain, Luo Chen sips sweet milk tea in a cozy, warm mountain cabin and smiles at the land outside, where spring blossoms beneath a blanket of snow.
By the window, two tiny snowmen, sparkling like clear ice, begin to melt as they kiss.
As silver hair blows in the wind, Feriniel gives a slight flick of his fingers. Tiny ice crystals form at his fingertips, and a thread of cold air settles over the snowmen.
The two little snowmen stop melting and return to normal.
Reader's Guide:
1. The blurb has been around for a long time and revised many times, so it may differ from the story's setup. The story itself takes precedence.
2. Snow elf top x wind elf bottom. The wind elf can change into a normal-sized human form. He has two sizes and wings.
3. A wind elf runs a courier service in a magical world, building a logistics business and developing the infrastructure. Later on, there's more than just deliveries, and the story includes plenty of original worldbuilding.
4. Finally, I hope you enjoy the story!
