Yunze was one of those who changed when the apocalypse came.

The little jellyfish grew, in a daze, into the giant sea monster from the movies. He cautiously poked his head out of the water and curiously observed the world.

His soft tentacles wrapped around an ordinary person who'd fallen into the sea. Slowly, he dragged the person above the surface, then inched his way onto shore.

Yunze bounced around in amazement. So it could leave the water too!

But the person he'd rescued didn't thank him.

The human stared at him in terror, then ran off in a panic. "Aaaah! The water monster's come ashore!"

"Human, I... human?"

Yunze tilted his head and gave the man a sweet, obedient smile.

Lu Chang studied the well-behaved, pretty young man in front of him and raised an eyebrow. "Can't you talk, or do you stutter?"

Yunze only shook his head and kept smiling at him.

That smile dazzled Lu Chang. He quietly covered his rapidly beating heart.

The young man in front of him was silly and had a bit of a stutter, but his smile was so pretty, so sweet.

Lu Chang secretly made up his mind: this adorable little cutie was his!

No one else was allowed to take him!

Without letting on, he brought out snacks and drinks to entice the pretty boy into following him.

The pretty boy tilted his head. He didn't understand.

But this person gave him food, so he'd decided to go with him.

Before the apocalypse arrived, no one believed the end of the world would really come.

The moment the meteorite fell, the earth split apart, mountains crumbled, and hurricanes and tsunamis rushed toward them. Disaster swept across the world.

At last, humanity realized in terror that the apocalypse had truly arrived.

Nature paid no heed to people's cries. Panic spread through the crowds.

And this was only the beginning. The wind died down and the rain stopped, while changes quietly took place. When people began to transform, they realized in horror that everything in the world, including the oceans, had changed.

The world's balance of power shifted from that moment on.

Intelligent creatures began fighting for control of the world. They became the rulers of the sea, and the sky was theirs to roam freely.

Humanity's living space kept shrinking.

But the world's disasters did not stop. Hurricanes and tsunamis continued, the blizzards showed no sign of letting up, and all kinds of extreme weather still threatened every living thing beneath the sky.
