My Dead Husband Is an S-Rank Monster

Purehearted girl crossed out, widower top x Super S-Class monster bottom.

When Ruan Fan's husband died, many nobles came to pay their respects.

Ever since the apocalypse, wormholes had spread across Blue Star and society had been rebuilt. His husband was an S-Class hunter, but he had tragically died on his last mission.

Ruan Fan numbly accepted everyone's condolences.

Because of the strict ranked marriage system, once Ruan Fan was examined and found to be a match for his husband, his husband adopted him. That continued until he came of age and entered military academy. But before he even had the chance to marry his husband, he became a widower.

In front of the mourning hall, where his husband's portrait stood,

a young honors student at the military academy said softly, "The old man's dead. Would you really not consider me?"

The newly appointed frontline commander lowered his eyes. "Ruan Fan, I can give you everything he could."

The refined, steady butler gently stroked his back. "Madam, you still have me, no matter what."

Ruan Fan didn't accept their kindness. He inherited all of his husband's estate, including... his husband?

In the first year after her husband's death, Ruan Fan earned the right to enter the underground city with the highest score in his class.

Then, in a Super S-Class underground city, he encountered an S-Class monster who looked exactly like Shen Chunye.

The monster was extremely powerful, but when it met him, it remained quiet.

Ruan Fan brought the monster back with him. Slowly, however, he realized that the monster's behavior was becoming more and more like his husband.

One night, the monster named Shen Chunye climbed into Ruan Fan's bed.

A few content notes:

1. The top is pretty useless at first, and may still be rather lazy later on.

2. Ruan Fan is the top!

3. The top can replenish his abilities by eating... (but the bottom can recover).

Theme: Rebuild yourself and find love.
