[One Piece] How a Reaper Intern Finds a New Job

Ami had wanted to become a professional shinigami ever since she was little. After years of hard work and determination, she finally got into the academy's shinigami program at the age of 328. Now she was an intern shinigami, about to graduate.

There were no complicated workplace rules, no need to worry about clients' feelings, and most importantly of all, shinigami were assigned jobs after graduation! Just look at alchemists and shrine maidens, who ran themselves ragged applying for jobs every graduation season.

Ami thought about it with satisfaction.

Maybe she'd graduate without a hitch next year. Maybe she'd just have to work diligently for a decade or so to become a full-fledged shinigami. Maybe...

There was no maybe. The passage between worlds, which had always been firmly shut, suddenly opened and tossed Ami onto a deck before she could react.

"Ah..."

Ami pointed at the red-haired man in front of her.

"Uh..."

Shanks pointed at the person in pajamas in front of him.

Could someone please tell her what was going on? Could those old-timers' carelessly tossed ancient summoning spells really summon even a shinigami?!!

And she'd lost her job!

For the sake of her year-end bonus and pension, Ami, who had failed the shinigami qualification exam five times, was forced to find work.

And so she became

The Red-Haired Pirates' soul reaper

A Marines Vice Admiral, the Black Dragon

A pioneer of revolutionary thought in the Revolutionary Army

The oldest little sister of the Whitebeard Pirates

Ami: That year, I walked with my hands in my pockets, not knowing what an opponent was.

※ The heroine is an intern shinigami. She can capture souls, has below-average combat strength, but is immortal.

※ An extremely overpowered, feel-good setting. The romance can be with multiple characters or there can be no pairing at all. No need to worry about age-gap compatibility, since the heroine is older than all of them combined.

※ Updates whenever I feel like it. I'll update regularly after I finish my other story. I'll revise the blurb later.

Theme: Who's going to pay for my retirement if I don't work?
