Unable to Hear

Whenever people talk about Qi Xun, they say it's such a shame.

He was talented and kind, but had been deaf since birth. Some people even whispered behind his back, wondering if he had been bullied a lot as a child.

People who knew Qi Xun would always speak up: “How could he have been? You have no idea how fiercely Zhou Jinfeng protected him.”

.

Zhou Jinfeng first met Qi Xun at home. Zhou was seven, and Qi Xun was six. His father told him that Qi Xun would be his little brother from then on.

At seven or eight, the age when even dogs find children annoying, Zhou Jinfeng was a notorious little terror. He bared his claws, eager to establish his authority in front of Qi Xun, only to be met with Qi Xun's quiet, puzzled gaze.

Only later did he learn what it meant that Qi Xun couldn't hear.

.

Zhou Jinfeng had been in love with Qi Xun for years, but in his eyes, Qi Xun was a delicate flower. He didn't dare pluck it, so he circled the territory like a fierce dog, using his status as an older brother to satisfy his possessive streak.

That was until he discovered that Qi Xun had secretly met a refined, gentle man many times without telling him. Zhou Jinfeng felt as if the sky had fallen

He viciously locked Qi Xun in a room. His eyes were red, and he looked ready to lose his mind, but his signing was frantic and his expression utterly aggrieved: “Do you think I'm bad-tempered too?”

Qi Xun opened his mouth. Though he had never learned to speak because he had been deaf since birth, he struggled to force two words out: “□□, □□... huan...”

P.S. They aren't on the same household register. Zhou supported the child; he did not adopt him.

Recommending the sweet little story I started in March, Custom Boyfriend

Lin Cheming inexplicably downloaded an app called “Custom Boyfriend.” When he opened it, the app asked what kind of lover he would want if he could customize a boyfriend.

Thinking that being bored was no worse than entertaining someone even more boring, Lin Cheming typed: [A lover who wants only me, and no one but me]

The next morning, he opened the door and saw a tall, muscular man looking down at him. “Hello. I'm your custom boyfriend, Jing Zhi.”

.

Since Jing Zhi didn't obey him like a robot, Lin Cheming kept suspecting that he was some prank by a secret admirer.

That was until the day he told Jing Zhi to stay home and wait for him. While out on an errand, he was betrayed and plunged into danger. Jing Zhi appeared, and with his bare hands, effortlessly crippled hundreds of people in the blink of an eye.

Lin Cheming: “...”

Can I still return him?

But Jing Zhi had already caught him by the wrist and pulled him close by the waist, pressing his brow to Lin Cheming's and forcing him to meet his eyes.

Jing Zhi's voice was as gentle as ever. “A Lin, don't be afraid.”

He gave him a perfectly tender smile. “As long as you don't leave me, I won't do that to you.”
