Gathering the Stars in My Arms

Fang Yi'an likes Sang Zhi, the top student in his class, who is gentle and strikingly beautiful. But she doesn't like him, and instead gets involved with the school bully from a vocational school. He tries to talk her out of it several times, all to no avail.

At last, she ends his painfully obvious unrequited love with one sentence: “Yi'an, you don't understand. I don't just like him. I love him.”

Qiao Nanxia has loved her neighbor, Zhou Yanzhi, since childhood. When she hears that something has happened to his family, she wishes she could bring him comfort every day. But in the end, she's not the one standing by his side. She tried to win him over, but he only sees her as a little sister.

As expected, childhood friends can't beat the new arrival.

Two people who've failed at love get tangled up with each other by a twist of fate, and their bond only grows deeper.
