A Miserable Concubine's Guide to Survival

Song Nanqiao transmigrates to ancient times and becomes a concubine-born daughter in the Prime Minister's household. She'd thought she could rise above her station like the heroine of a transmigration novel and enjoy a life of wealth and luxury, but her sharp edges are quickly worn down. She becomes cautious and meek, wanting nothing more than to scrape by and stay alive!

That is, until a military family moves in next door. Their youngest son often sneaks over to see Song Nanqiao, reconnecting her with this world.

"At first, I thought you were a good person, but you always brought trouble my way, so I wanted to avoid you. But later, I got used to being by your side and working through these problems with you. So I want to say, I've gotten used to staying by your side."

Spoilers:

Song Nanqiao watches her fellow transmigrators, her concubine-born elder sister and legitimate elder sister, battle it out with gusto. She only wants to stay far away, but that idiot from next door pushes her right in front of them to watch the show. Isn't that just asking to die sooner? Song Nanqiao closes her eyes and silently repeats, "You can't see me, you can't see me!"
