The Temperature Rises Tonight

[Spoiled Little Trouble-Maker X Gentle, Nurturing Older Man / Pseudo-Siblings / An Old Flame Rekindled] My historical romance, My Cousin Plots for Me to Enjoy Spring, is now out. If you're interested, go check it out!

Qiao Zhiyan is the Shang family's adopted daughter. Raised by Old Master Shang from childhood, she grew up extremely spoiled and became notorious in their circle as a troublemaker.

Shang Yu is the next head of the Shang family. Gentle and refined, dignified and composed, he intimidates all the younger members of the family, who go out of their way to avoid him.

Their relationship was nothing special. When Qiao Zhiyan saw him, she would simply call out "Big Brother" from a distance.

That is, until a car accident left Qiao Zhiyan with amnesia, and she mistakenly believed that she and Shang Yu had always been close as brother and sister.

When she woke up, she opened her arms and complained coquettishly, "Big Brother, my leg hurts. Carry me out."

She had no memory of how they had been at odds before, or how little they knew each other.

She liked Big Brother and kept trying to make him fall for her.

But no matter how much she flirted with him, he remained unmoved.

Qiao Zhiyan deliberately tried to make him jealous, flirting and declaring her love for someone else.

When she got drunk, she felt up his abs and treated him like a human toy.

At last, the usually calm and self-controlled man grew angry. His gaze darkened as he said gently, "Think carefully. You won't get another chance to regret this."

Qiao Zhiyan didn't understand. She only knew that she had finally gotten what she wanted.

.

After the old master passed away, Shang Yu became the true head of the Shang family.

Still young, he had already left the heirs of his generation far behind.

There was just one thing that troubled him: his grandfather had left him a little troublemaker to deal with.

After the accident, Qiao Zhiyan stopped picking fights with him and became very affectionate.

Shang Yu first indulged her a little, but before long he was completely unable to stop. His friends teased him for being a sister-complex.

Still, she wasn't satisfied and tried every way she could to seduce him.

He knew he was taking advantage of her, but Shang Yu's self-control was gradually crumbling under her advances.

When her memories returned, Qiao Zhiyan's vision went black. Remembering all the foolish things she'd done while she had amnesia, she wanted to bang her head against a wall.

Mortified, she promptly packed herself off to a film set and unilaterally ended things with him, cutting him off without warning.

The man came looking for her, gazing at her calmly. "Come here. You're not even going to acknowledge me as your Big Brother anymore?"

Qiao Zhiyan snapped, "What Big Brother? We were never close in the first place."

"Is that so?" His large hands roamed over her body, just as they had countless times before.

After one wild night, Qiao Zhiyan refused to acknowledge the promise not to break up. When the man pressed her for an explanation, she said lightly, "It was a breakup hookup. I haven't forgotten that before I lost my memory, Big Brother tried to force me into an arranged marriage."

Shang Yu faltered, nearly losing his balance.

On the day filming wrapped, snow fell on the man's shoulders. He gave Qiao Zhiyan a bouquet of roses and said with a quiet laugh, "Miss Qiao, I'm pursuing you."
