Fortune Smiles on Me [Selfcest]

"Someone has walked one stretch after another by my side. His name is Cheng Song."

This is the thirty-second year of my life.

And on the last night of my thirty-second year,

I fell to my death in front of my eighteen-year-old self.

My eighteen-year-old self was passionate and bold. But I knew that some things, once rotten, were rotten to the core, like a decayed apple.

They could never be made new again.

-

"I was desperate to find some of the things I'd once had, to prove that the reason I died wasn't so painfully hollow."

"But Cheng Song gave me lots of new apples and told me that as long as he was here, I would get a new apple every day."

"I knew he meant that he loved me. So, suddenly, I wanted to live."

Theme: Life is full of suffering, but we can only save ourselves.
