The First Game Producer

When Lin Shengge was eighteen, she was in a car accident. Her previously absent, wealthy father suddenly appeared and promised to cover her lifelong medical expenses after she became a person in a vegetative state.

When she woke again, communication devices had become brain-computer interfaces, and people traveled at the speed of light aboard spaceships. All the 21st-century dreams of the future had come true, one by one.

The good news: Her wealthy father had put her in cryogenic storage, and she had been successfully revived despite the two-percent revival rate. She had a whole new life ahead of her.

The bad news: The other person in that two percent was her estranged father. He had been revived decades before her, so now she could inherit part of his estate, but had also acquired a heap of half-siblings.

A living antique, illiterate in all things interstellar, and delicate of constitution, Lin Shengge decided to stay out of the Lin family's power struggles. She launched the full-dive game of her dreams and acted like a hopelessly game-obsessed loser to show her younger siblings, who were older than she was, that she posed no threat.

Then she secretly tinkered with a game-making simulator and created all kinds of old-school Blue Star games.

Later, when the Lin family saw her again, people were calling her the God of Gaming.
