After Becoming a Fairy, I Want to Be Human Again Every Day

A rich, fierce, tough, and resilient demon queen x a sickly, handsome Daoist who throws up three liters of blood a day and could drop dead at any moment

1.

Zhang Qiang simply went to sleep like any ordinary person. She never expected to catch the transmigration craze. When she opened her eyes, she found herself transformed into a demon king.

And she had three powerful innate abilities, a wealth of memories about spells, runes, alchemy, forging, and more, and was even a genius demon!

Demon life, secure: Other demons have one innate ability, while I have three. Other demons grow up naturally and invent their own fighting moves, while I have a memory cheat. My combat power is MAX. My demon life is perfectly safe!

Quality of life: I have a cave dwelling, a mount, beautiful men and women to run errands for me, and more money than I could spend in hundreds of years. I'm in the famous Ten Thousand Demon Mountains, a place rich in demon talent and delicious ingredients. As a demon king, my quality of life is totally fine!

There was only one last thing to worry about: Some demons look bizarre, so I need to see what I look like. My paws seemed a little familiar. Maybe I'm something like a spider. That's fine, I can handle it! As long as nobody forces me into my true form, I'll stay human-shaped forever!

So Zhang Qiang used her clumsy magic to take on human form, worked up her courage, and looked in the mirror.

The mirror: ...

Zhang Qiang rolled her eyes and nearly blew her top. "Aaaah! What a huge cockroach!" She gagged.

2.

Zhang Qiang transmigrated.

The good news: She became a powerful demon king with a home, money, and underlings! Her name was almost the same as hers: Zhang Xiaoqiang!

The bad news: She's a cockroach demon king... Turns out this Xiaoqiang is not that Xiaoqiang.

Since one of her innate abilities lets her see through all illusions, no matter what spell she uses to change her appearance, she can only see a giant cockroach.

To keep herself from sleepily seeing her reflection one day and reflexively smacking herself to death, the cleanliness-obsessed Zhang Qiang decides to find a way to become human again.

To that end, Zhang Qiang leaves her cave dwelling and heads to the famous Daoist temple next door. She taps a handsome Daoist who looks like a powerful immortal on the shoulder. "Hey? Do you know how a demon can turn into a human?"

The handsome Daoist slowly turns to look at her and opens his mouth. "Ugh!" He throws up a mouthful of blood, then another and another, spewing three liters of blood on the spot.

Zhang Xiaoqiang stares in shock. "A-are you trying to scam me?"
