The Merman Pursues His Ex Through Hell

Beautiful, heartless merman gong × self-righteous, sharp-tongued, hot-tempered white dragon shou

Shen Ling × Wang Yan

A story about two great beauties falling in love.

Wang Yan is a dragon, a dragon whose words are so venomous that he can always make people furious.

After years of countless battles, Wang Yan had never admitted defeat in a battle of wits.

That is, until he met Shen Ling.

Shen Ling is beautiful, and every gesture reveals the unique grace of a merman. His manner, however, is always indifferent, making him impossible for Wang Yan to read.

Still, to win the beauty's favor, Wang Yan chose to rein himself in. He swallowed all the aggressive remarks he would once have made and began clumsily learning how to treat someone well.

Perhaps sincerity really is what moves the heart most easily, because Shen Ling's attitude toward him gradually softened. Just as Wang Yan had already figured out how to bring him home as his husband, disaster struck.

Someone drugged Shen Ling, and by chance he had also lost all his spiritual power.

After their tails became entangled through a twist of fate, he ended up being the one on the bottom.

Shen Ling is a merman, one whose beauty makes others covet him.

To restore the merman clan to its former glory, Shen Ling rose to a position of power through his own efforts and became the clan's icon of faith.

He had fought countless battles and won every one. Shen Ling shed blood for the Red Sea for over a hundred years, only to have the Dragon King personally gouge out his bones as he returned at the head of his troops.

Shen Ling hates true dragons, especially those with exceptionally pure bloodlines.

As it happens, Wang Yan is exactly that kind of dragon.

From their first meeting, Shen Ling detested Wang Yan. Who could have guessed that the annoying pest would fall in love with him at first sight and come bother him day and night?

After a while, Shen Ling suddenly felt a malicious urge.

Since those hypocritical true dragons all looked down on him, he would think of a way to toy with this dragon.

He used sincere affection to let down Wang Yan's guard, then chose to push him away when their feelings were at their strongest.

But for some reason, when he saw Wang Yan's disappointed expression, he didn't feel the satisfaction he had expected.

It was all an act, and he personally broke Wang Yan's heart, piece by piece.

He had destroyed everything with his own hands, yet in the end, he became the one who wanted to make the act real.

But Wang Yan no longer wanted that.
