My Deceased Husband Came Knocking at My Door

[A writing exercise, click with caution]

Ji Xin, a professional cannon fodder in quick transmigration worlds, gets hit by a bug in the System.

His husband, who should have died, becomes a huge variable. Not only does he hinder Ji Xin's mission progress, but the way he stares at him, as if he wants to tear him apart one second and cling to him adoringly the next, makes Ji Xin deeply uneasy. And this man insists on being by his side day and night, even... pressing close to him.

At first, Ji Xin, the "love-struck puppy," finally hears that his husband is dead.

He thinks he can finish his mission and packs his bags, only for his dead husband to return on a stormy night, soaked through.

The man seems no different from before: taciturn, cold, and distant. This lets Ji Xin confidently continue with all kinds of fake confessions and feigned concern. He never expects every little gesture to push him another step toward the abyss...

Until one day, Ji Xin accidentally catches a glimpse of Gu Luchi's true intentions in his dark gaze.

This man either wants to kiss him or kill him!

But by then, there's no escaping the web the other man laid out long ago...

"Ji Xin, don't you love me anymore?"

"Ji Xin, you lied to me again."

Several dark shadows surged out behind Gu Luchi, like countless emaciated corpses that had just crawled out of hell. Their grotesque appearance clashed with the stiff, strange smile curling across his face:

"But you're my wife, my human. We'll never be apart."

※Before You Read※

1. A seemingly humble and ingratiating, but actually distant and cool, teasing bottom x a top who looks down on everything and everyone at first, then becomes a shameless monster who can't get enough of him

2. A love-struck puppy with supposedly disabled legs VS. a monster husband risen from the dead. The puppy act is fake, and so is the disability.

3. This was originally meant to be a quick-transmigration story across multiple worlds, but my skills are limited, so I'll finish the first world for now. If I get inspired, I might write a short story to resolve the regret.

4. I'm a beginner writer, so there may be logical flaws. Thank you for your understanding and patience~
