I recommend my next upcoming melodramatic cultivation novel, After Breaking Off the Engagement with a Crazy, Overbearing Dragon Protagonist. The blurb is at the very bottom.
Blurb for this novel
After his mother died, Chen Li was taken back to the capital and moved into the Song family home as Song Zhaoyuan's fiance.
At their first meeting, Chen Li thought this alpha was completely unreasonable. How could anyone be Snow White and the Evil Queen at the same time?
But there was nothing he could do. Chen Li was the one who had moved into someone else's home, so he was in the wrong to begin with.
At first, Song Zhaoyuan cursed at him and told him to get lost. Chen Li apologized while refusing. He could understand being cursed at, but he couldn't leave.
The shameless Chen Li could only do one thing: devote himself to pleasing the alpha, obeying his every whim.
Later, Song Zhaoyuan held Chen Li's hand and even kissed him. Chen Li was baffled, but went along with it.
Chen Li had always lived by his intuition, but for the first time, he hit a wall. Song Zhaoyuan was a mystery harder to solve than any problem of the century. No principle or formula could offer him a clue, no paper or experience could help. His intuition failed him, and the high IQ he was so proud of completely shut down in the face of the problem that was Song Zhaoyuan.
The year he turned eighteen, Chen Li made an important decision: he would end his engagement to Song Zhaoyuan.
When Song Zhaoyuan came home from school, his parents and grandfather informed him that he was to get engaged to a strange omega. Oh, and the omega was deaf, too.
Song Zhaoyuan swore he would never agree. Song Zhaoyuan was forced to give in. Song Zhaoyuan reluctantly accepted. Song Zhaoyuan became hopelessly devoted.
Could someone tell him if this omega's high IQ was fake? How could anyone have an emotional intelligence close to zero?
People made snide remarks and insulted him to his face, and the omega blankly said thank you. Others insulted the omega in roundabout ways, and the omega asked them to explain exactly what they meant.
There's no doubt Chen Li is a genius, but Song Zhaoyuan thinks the little genius couldn't survive a second without him.
Beneath this arranged marriage, it turns out they are a match made in heaven. Thank you, Mom and Dad. Thank you, Grandpa. Thank you, fate. He has decided to graciously spend the rest of his life as Chen Li's alpha.
But just as he made up his mind, Chen Li said he wanted to end their engagement.
Tsundere heiress gong * low-EQ, naturally spacey genius shou
The gong has a bad temper, and the shou has trouble hearing.

Blurb for Married the Dragon Protagonist After Transmigrating into a Book, but Broke Off the Engagement
[Cold-blooded, crazy, overbearing dragon protagonist * clueless furnace-caul beauty, minor cannon-fodder character]

I hate Wen Renyu.
But I used to love him.
I transmigrated into a book, into a world of cultivation.
I knew he was the protagonist of this world.
To survive in this dangerous world, I said I wanted to marry him.
Strangely enough, he agreed.
Thanks to him, I made it into the greatest sect under heaven, except he was an inner disciple, while I was... a servant who swept the floors.
I had no hopes of attaining enlightenment or becoming an immortal. Transmigrating into a book hadn't changed the fact that I wasn't smart.
I had merely gone from a fool who got thirty points on math tests to a fool with no spiritual roots who couldn't read.
He traveled the world and made a name for himself. He was brimming with confidence, surrounded by followers, while I simply swept the same floors day after day.
I told people he would come back and marry me, but no one believed me. They told me to stop dreaming.
I kept waiting for him to come back and marry me.
But he never did.
Later, I heard he was about to become cultivation partners with an elder's son. I figured he must have forgotten me long ago, and forgotten that he was supposed to marry me.
So many people laughed at me. I didn't want to wait for him anymore.
I wanted to return to the mortal world and live an ordinary life.
I was robbed on the way. The robber said I had an exceptional water spiritual root and was born to be a cultivation furnace. Wen Renyu had used some kind of magical artifact to conceal my spiritual root during the sect's test.
My constitution was ideal for helping cultivators break through their limits. I was practically tailor-made for cultivators like Wen Renyu, a Dao Fetus and Demon Seed.
I thought... that maybe he really had liked me a little.
Just as I was about to become a cultivation furnace, Wen Renyu saved me.
I asked him if what that person said was true. He said it was.
Now we're even.
I don't want to see him anymore.
I'm leaving.
But Wen Renyu wouldn't let me go. He forced me to become his cultivation furnace. He said he was going to marry me.
The thing I regret most is meeting him. I'd rather die than marry him.

Finished reading!! The writing is very good and the plot is smooth, but maybe I stayed up late to read it in one sitting, so I remember the plot clearly. There were several conflicts between the two protagonists that were actually escaping from the past and were not completely solved. There is always an information gap, and it is not well explained later. For example, the matter of throwing away the keys, it feels like it was not solved at all during the Cold War. Later, due to the mutation of the parents, it was directly brought over, and the Feng family and his son did not seem to have a detailed development (according to the more clichéd routine, there should be a retribution. Or an exit that meets the readers' expectations), so when I watched the later period, I kept watching it with a bit of anticipation, worried that these two invisible bombs would once again serve as a trigger in the later period and become a point of conflict again, including the parents' accident, and the reconciliation between the parents and Shou (because the previous description clearly shows that There seems to be a grudge, but there seems to be no reconciliation later. The two people left the show in a hurry after their parents' accident. There doesn't seem to be a relatively complete follow-up. I read it in one breath until the end, and I still feel that the story is not finished. I don't know if the author will make extra chapters to fill in the gaps. I'm super looking forward to it!
This article gives me the feeling that there is always a feeling of stagnation in the advancement of the plot. The advancement of the plot is set by the author behind the scenes, but the actual execution is the behavior of the characters. However, there are always places where you can clearly see the author's hand controlling it, such as the plot of returning to his hometown to share a bed that I commented on before, and Feng's inexplicable behavior here. The cover-up of exams and explanations would not be so abrupt if it were an illogical white text, but the author's overall writing style and plot are very logical, which makes these parts particularly disharmonious. It doesn't matter if you read it without thinking, but if you want to read it carefully, it will feel awkward. I hope the author can reconsider it and write better.
Isn't Shen Zheng the one who got engaged to the Lin family and cheated on her?
I don't understand why you don't just tell the truth.
I'm here to review it again. You are really good at writing about sourness. My heart breaks.
The author will update soon! I have a friend who is almost starving. He's so pretty.
My heart feels warm and swollen when I see it. It's still very sweet anyway. Let's just stay happy together☺️
So cute, I'm going to faint...
