[Moriarty the Patriot] No Contact

Miss Moriarty is a very perceptive child.

That was William's assessment after noticing some of the little things the girl was doing in private.

She was different from her parents and second-oldest brother, and different from her eldest brother, too.

Before her eldest brother set fire to the Moriarty family manor, Miss Moriarty prepared to run away, but a patrolling policeman caught her red-handed. She had no choice but to be taken in with her three brothers by Count Rockwell.

Albert had thought this would let him keep an eye on Rosaline and stop her from telling anyone about “William,” then silence her for good when the time came. But things didn't go as he wished. Since Count Rockwell was an unmarried man, Miss Moriarty had to be adopted by another noble family. The kind and widowed Duchess of Penier took her home to keep her company with her only son.

By the time Albert finally came of age and inherited his title, he discovered that...

Rosaline, who used to love following him around as a child, no longer wanted to go home with him. She had even come to regard young Master Penier, who was set to inherit his late father's title, as her brother.

How could this be allowed? Even if he didn't like his sister, he would never permit it!
