[Under the Skin] Dreamer

Also known as: My Relative Seems to Be the Heroine of an Angsty Romance, but My Boyfriend and I Both Work in Law Enforcement

Zhou Xu, 20, is a law student for some reason doing an internship at the Beijiang City Public Security Bureau. She's an unserious fan-fiction fangirl and a girl who loves drawing reaction images, with a pretty face and a mouth that really shouldn't say what it does.

Shen Yi, 28, is a portrait artist who has just passed his assessment and applied to transfer to the Beijiang City Public Security Bureau. He's known for being able to draw an old man as a three-year-old, and for making whatever he draws look exactly right. He looks like an easy target and often gets pestered by Zhou Xu to draw fan art.

Huanhuan is Zhou Xu's Border Collie. It eats eight meals a day: three regular meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus all the dog food Zhou Xu and Shen Yi feed each other until it's stuffed.

Lin Xi, 24, is a graduate student in economics and Zhou Xu's distant cousin. She's the heroine of an angsty romance.

Shen Yi never imagined that Zhou Xu would ask him to help catch someone while he was still giving a lecture. Wait, no, this isn't appropriate, my little ancestor!
