Gossiping in a CEO Romance Novel

As the legal adviser to CEO-romance novels, Song Jin lived his whole life walking on thin ice.

The CEOs were all completely unhinged. They were forever torturing people physically and emotionally over unrequited love, or drugging and imprisoning them for sex.

Song Jin was forced to witness all the drama firsthand, from ruthless schemes and substitutes with amnesia to lovers turning against each other, hearts being replaced and eyes gouged out, first loves returning from abroad, and CEOs chasing their exes to win them back.

As a professional, Song Jin not only provided top-quality legal services, but also handcuffed every lawbreaking lunatic and rescued countless victims from their torment.

It became an unspoken rule among the CEOs: If you don't listen to Song Jin, you're going to jail.

From then on, Song Jin became famous in CEO circles.

Gu Xingchen, president of the Gu Group, was cool and chaste, and always obeyed the law. He was the only good CEO who brought work home instead of bringing his lover to the office.

He was aloof and untouchable, an unattainable ideal.

In the original story, after the CEOs fell for someone else, they joined forces to bankrupt Gu Xingchen, drag him from his pedestal, and humiliate and torment him in every way to prove their devotion to their new boyfriends.

Song Jin: "The lunatics are all in jail. Stay right there on your pedestal, President Gu."

Gu Xingchen: "Lawyer Song, I have a project worth several hundred million that I'd like to discuss with you."

Song Jin: "..."

Oh no. The unattainable ideal is gone.
