Ugh, I Didn’t Die Again Today

Redemption | Gloomy, depressed bottom x Sunny, straight top

Lin Keyuan is a genius, as everyone calls him.

He is beautiful, has an exceptionally high IQ, and possesses a photographic memory that lets him remember every detail of his life with perfect clarity.

Everything is magnified without limit, and negative memories haunt him like nightmares.

Lin Keyuan has suffered from insomnia for years. His head feels like it is splitting, and every day he thinks about how to die without a hitch.

But he doesn't dare let Fu Yanzhou know.

Around Fu Yanzhou, he always pretends to be perfectly normal.

Fu Yanzhou is handsome and comes from an impressive background. He's a true child of heaven, the center of attention wherever he goes, dazzling like a star surrounded by admirers.

He's Lin Keyuan's friend.

And the person Lin Keyuan secretly loves.

Fu Yanzhou is so straight that he should never have noticed Lin Keyuan's feelings, much less seen through his act. But lately, for some reason, he's been acting strange. Not only is he especially attentive to Lin Keyuan, he's even planning to move in with him.

Is he crazy? Don't tempt a man with a test like that.

Fu Yanzhou is reborn.

This time, he will never let Lin Keyuan die in secret again.

Lin Keyuan is a coward. He's had a crush on Fu Yanzhou for so long and hasn't even said a word, and now he's gone and developed depression. He's seriously messed up.

Fu Yanzhou only found out when he was sorting through Lin Keyuan's belongings.

Lin Keyuan is gloomy, taciturn, and terribly insecure. Whenever he's unhappy, he finds ways to torment himself, either slashing his wrists with a knife or burning himself with cigarette butts.

Fu Yanzhou has told him countless times to stop, but Lin Keyuan never listens.

Eventually, Fu Yanzhou discovers how to get Lin Keyuan to behave:

A kiss keeps him in line for a little while. A romp in bed keeps him in line for half a day.

Even when he behaves, he's not easy to take care of. Fu Yanzhou has to feed him his favorite food and cuddle him to sleep like a child.

Fu Yanzhou thinks Lin Keyuan is pretty high-maintenance. Every time, he says he won't indulge him next time.

But he always does.

[The bottom has a crush on the top, but the top pursues the bottom.]

Fu Yanzhou, at the top of his lungs: Lin Keyuan, believe me! The world is beautiful, and the sun will shine on you, too!

Lin Keyuan, barely alive: Mm. It's too bright.

A withered mimosa comes back to life under the enthusiastic care of a sunny, straight guy.

Theme: Be brave and fearless, strive tirelessly, and build a harmonious society together!
