My Boyfriend Is a Horror Boss

My name is Shen Mingguang. I'm nineteen and a second-year university student. I'm taking Marxist Philosophy as an elective. I'm a model student with impeccable credentials, an unwavering materialist, and my motto in life is to smash all ghosts and monsters.

I got a new boyfriend recently. He's cool and aloof, with an air like frost and snow in the woods. He's considerate and attentive to me. The only downside is... he's way too clingy. He expects instant replies to his messages and immediate answers to his calls. Aside from showering, sleeping, and using the bathroom, he wants us stuck together every minute, like he can't survive without me.

So much so that I dreamed last night about sticky tentacles wrapping around me. My lower back kind of hurts this morning.

On April Fool's Day, someone claiming to be a player who had escaped from an infinite-flow game screamed at me with a twisted expression: My boyfriend is the ultimate boss in an infinite-flow game, a monster sleeping in the depths of the sea and the source of all terror!

I tucked my copy of An Introduction to the Basic Principles of Marxism under my arm, put my hands behind my back, and sighed. Clearly, after "I am Qin Shi Huang, send me money" and "Crazy Thursday, send me 50 yuan," prank posts had now reached a whole new level.

Since the person seemed mentally unstable, I promptly calmed them down, kindly and patiently gave them three whole hours of materialist education, and considerately called the psychiatric hospital.

But from that day on, my boyfriend started looking at me more and more strangely.
