After Betraying the Demon Lord

The Demon Lord Shi Yuan is ruthless and merciless, yet his cultivation has reached the pinnacle. For a thousand years, the righteous sects have been unable to raise their heads under his crushing power. Rumor has it that he is cold-hearted and unkind, and shows no mercy to anyone. The only exception is his favored concubine, Shen Ji, whom he cherishes above all others. Later, when the righteous and demonic factions clash, the Demon Lord has the upper hand. He never imagines that his beloved Shen Ji will stab him through the heart from behind with the Sword of Demon-Slaying, bringing the life of the Demon Lord to an end. Shen Ji had been a spy sent by the righteous sects to infiltrate the Demon Lord's side. After assassinating him, she becomes famous with a single stroke of her sword. Unfortunately, demonic energy taints her and wipes away her memories of her time with the Demon Lord. Her sect protects her from then on, and she retreats into seclusion to cultivate, far removed from worldly affairs. A hundred years later, Shen Ji finds a pitiful young man by the roadside. Taking pity on him, she accepts him as her disciple. The young man is obedient enough, respectfully serving her tea, water, and meals, and making her bed every day. Shen Ji is quite pleased. Later, Shen Ji's memories return, and she is horrified to discover that the young man she took in is none other than the Demon Lord she once assassinated! The Demon Lord stands by her bed with a smiling face. "Master, would you like me to warm your bed?" Theme: Even in adversity, never submit to the powerful. Be brave enough to pursue love and freedom.
