Wen Yinzhi, an elven child adored by countless gods, fell into a deep slumber after an accident. When he woke again, he found himself in an unfamiliar interstellar age.
With no parents or household registration, Wen Yinzhi lived alone on an abandoned planet, rummaging through trash cans and barely getting enough to eat. His life finally showed some promise when a kind but eccentric old man took him in.
A dense black aura always clung to the old man. Every day, Wen Yinzhi had to work hard to dispel it. But although he had healing abilities, he was a useless little kid with no psychic power who couldn't understand the language, couldn't read a single character, and was slower on the uptake than everyone else.
His peers often mocked him as a little good-for-nothing and an illiterate fool, so Wen Yinzhi developed a deep longing and determination to go to school. Every day he collected bottles and scrap paper, then passed the school gates with clenched fists and a determined look. "I want to go to school too!"
Unfortunately, the money he earned from his little pile of scrap was only enough to buy half a steamed bun at the school gate. It wasn't nearly enough! Luckily, he got the chance to attend school in the Empire: as the crown prince's attendant.
He'd heard all children were afraid of the crown prince, said to be a little tyrant with unstable psychic power. But Wen Yinzhi wasn't afraid. He'd get meals and a place to stay, and he could go to school. He was so happy he couldn't sleep and was willing to be the little attendant.
From then on, he lived on a diet of chicken one meal and burgers the next.
Being a little attendant is so tiring!
He had to heal the little tyrant's chaotic psychic power, obey him, and be at his beck and call. It was bad enough that the little tyrant liked skipping class and picking fights, disrupting his studies, but he also kept bullying him!
During the day, Wen Yinzhi swallowed his grievances and diligently followed the little tyrant around as his attendant. At night, he would stick his butt in the air under the covers and pull out a little notebook:
Today the little tyrant called him a dummy again. Hate +1
Today the little tyrant made him skip class and got him caught. Hate +1
Today the little tyrant made him eat two steamed buns. Hate +1
The little one filled his whole grudge notebook, tucked it under his pillow, and clutched his blanket, growing angrier the more he thought about it.
So mad!
Tomorrow, he was definitely going to ignore the little tyrant, unless...
Unless the little tyrant made him braised pork tomorrow, or else...
Or else he wouldn't give him hugs!
The next day, the little one stared at the braised pork on the table, eyes shining.
In the kitchen, the little tyrant wore a pink apron. "What are you supposed to say?"
Wen Yinzhi swallowed, then said softly, "Big brother, I'm hungry. I want food."
He didn't yet know that many years later, the little tyrant really would pamper him into becoming a useless little thing.
Everyone knows that the higher a person's psychic power, the easier it is for them to lose their reason. The previous few emperors of the Empire had gone mad because their treatment failed.
But the current little tyrant came from a bloodline that had grown thin, with little affection between family members. On the day his rare 3S+ mutated bloodline awakened, his psychic power suddenly went berserk. Just as everyone thought this was the end of the line, Wen Yinzhi appeared. He held the little tyrant close and soothed his pain during the broadcast of his coming-of-age ceremony.
The entire interstellar world was in an uproar!
Wen Yinzhi's arrival was like a ray of light granted by the gods to the abyss, rekindling hope in the hearts of the mad.
He was the only healer in the history of the Empire, and the most precious treasure of its people.
