What Are We to Each Other Now?

Tang Wan has a somewhat complicated reputation in Nancheng.

He's exceptionally good-looking, the kind of person you can't take your eyes off after one glance. Talent scouts have pursued him again and again, and he's received enough love letters to circle Nancheng.

The boyfriends he's had could circle Nancheng too.

His name is always popping up on S University's gossip account, and there's always a carefully compiled PDF with his name in it.

In the noisy, crowded dance clubs, among the intimate booth seats, at pool parties with champagne and sparkling wine... Tang Wan is always there.

But Zhou Chengze, who's in Nancheng on a business trip, doesn't know any of this.

Zhou Chengze thinks he got drunk, lost control, went into the wrong suite, and slept with an innocent, beautiful college student.

Well, not quite. Actually, he was the one who got slept with.

He still remembers Tang Wan's wet black hair hanging down, a thin white bath towel casually draped over his shoulders. Water trickled down the side of his neck, fell onto his collarbone, slid over his abs, and slowly disappeared below the distinct line of his hips.

And those red, alcohol-hazed eyes that suddenly turned hungry and ferocious the instant the room went dark.

Rubbing his sore back as he reminisces, Zhou Chengze decides he didn't come out too badly.

He writes out a hefty check, leaves it on the bedside table as compensation, and prepares to call his secretary to take care of things.

But before leaving, Zhou Chengze turns back for one more look.

The handsome college student, just awake, is looking at him too, eyes sleepy and hazy. The lingering bruises on his collarbone make him seem rather pitiful.

As if someone else had been the one to strip Zhou Chengze bare, take him apart, and swallow him whole last night.

"Come with me."

As if possessed, Zhou Chengze stops and says it to Tang Wan.

It sounds like a casual, inconsequential invitation.

Tang Wan pauses, lowers his eyes, and thinks it over for a moment. To Zhou Chengze's surprise, he doesn't refuse.

He opens his phone with sleepy eyes and turns the screen around, the end of his sentence tinged with a smile. "Sure, Uncle. Here's my health report for the past three months."
