The Most Terrifying Man Is Pursuing Me

Ji Qing has recently been pursued by someone.

A big brother with tattooed arms, a sour face, bulging pecs, and the manner of a nouveau riche. He looks like trouble.

Ji Qing works part-time at a milk tea shop, and the big brother orders a hundred of the most expensive drinks, nearly working him to death on the spot.

Ji Qing works as a secondhand property agent, and the big brother follows him in a Land Rover, paying above market price for three rundown apartments.

Ji Qing helps the elderly neighbor look after his sweet potato stall, and the big brother buys everything, even paying a premium for the old man's tricycle.

Word is the big brother is a local kingpin in Jiangcheng. By day, he deals in tea and cultivates his mind; in private, he smokes, drinks, and does whatever he pleases.

Ji Qing suspects the big brother wants his body.

He tries to run, but after spending ages at it, he gets nowhere. Worse, the favors he's forced to accept keep piling up until he'll never be able to repay them in this lifetime.

With no other choice, Ji Qing gives up and tremblingly climbs into the big brother's passenger seat, ready to meet his fate.

The big brother drives him home, his expression so cold it's terrifying. He doesn't say a word the entire way.

Only when they reach the front door does the big brother suddenly yank up the handbrake and say in a fierce tone, "Meet my parents, then we'll go register our marriage this afternoon. My mom really likes you."

Ji Qing: "Huh?"

The big brother's ears turn bright red. He clumsily unfastens Ji Qing's seat belt, still speaking fiercely.

"My dad's got a problem, so don't be nice to him. If that old man threatens you, don't be scared. I can handle him. Damn it, I'm dating openly and honestly. What business is it of his?"

Ji Qing: "...Huh?"

When did they start dating?

Weren't they playing out a forced-love-and-conquest scenario this whole time?

Reader's Guide:

1. A poor, resilient, delicate-looking top x a pure-hearted, clueless, wealthy tough-guy bottom

2. The big brother's family runs a legitimate business. He just looks too scary, so everyone misunderstands him.

3. They're each other's first love, and same-sex marriage is legal. These two idiots only learn how to date after they get married.
