The Sea of Fireflies in Qianye

After graduating, Zhou Ruoying began working on future research and development in the field of brain-computer interfaces. During an accident, the world was pushed a hundred years into the future ahead of schedule, but the shift was unstable. She could only remain in the present and glimpse fragments of the future. While working on her research, she met Song Qianye. She thought they were meeting for the first time, but it turned out to be a reunion.

Young people are always quick to promise forever, but often don't understand the weight of a lifetime.

Only... how did this happen at work?

Zhou Ruoying was momentarily thrown into disarray. Once again, her fingers traced the creases in the handwriting on the resume: Song Qianye.

The Qianye orchid is an evergreen perennial climbing plant in the knotweed family, native to New Zealand and widely cultivated as an ornamental plant.

She would grow a Qianye orchid, too.

Zhou Ruoying's whole life.

Of course, he wasn't the kind of young man who casually promised forever. He understood the weight of a lifetime all too well. It's just... this was what he wanted.

(Older woman-younger man romance, female CEO. Content warnings: Includes fragments of the future; the brain-computer interface research does not cross any legal boundaries. Male-lead fans, proceed with caution. The story is slow-paced, along with other possible pitfalls not thought of here, all the more reason to tread carefully.)
