If Winter Weren't So Miserable

Tang Suisui likes summer vacation more than winter vacation, but the next time she saw Xiao Jie that winter, it was during the winter break when she was eighteen.

She was a brave person, brave enough to confess on the very first day of winter break.

"Xiao Jie, I've liked you for eight or nine years. Will you go out with me?"

Tang Suisui had chosen a proper restaurant. She wasn't joking at all.

Xiao Jie, sitting across from her, froze for half a second, then touched her forehead. "Tang Suisui, do you have a fever?"

Tang Suisui would always remember that winter three years ago.

Her heart cracked apart with a pain as piercing as the cold, until at last it froze solid.

If winter can't be happy, if happiness comes at the price of growing up...

Time brought her that winter, and fate folded Xiao Jie away.
