Protecting Ma Xinyi (A Cike Ma Xinyi Fanfic)

Lin Lan is a die-hard fan of Ma Xinyi.

She has watched the old Shaw Brothers film The Bloody Escape dozens of times.

The ending, in which the beautiful and ruthless protagonist Ma Xinyi dies,

has always left her deeply dissatisfied.

Then one day, she woke up and transmigrated,

into the body of the film's heroine, Milan.

Fifteen-year-old Milan was still unmarried.

She was so happy she nearly jumped for joy.

Now all she had to do was refuse to marry the second brother,

keep an eye on the third brother,

then wait for Ma Xinyi to ride past,

and take in two younger brothers,

with herself as an added bonus.

Her goals:

Marry Ma Xinyi.

Protect Ma Xinyi.

She called him Big Brother, and he called her Little Sister.

She had planned to confess after he passed the imperial examinations,

but one day, after drinking, Ma Xinyi pinned her against the door and asked in a hoarse voice,

"You care for the second brother and dote on the third. Why won't you spare me a single glance?"

"Big Brother, that's not it. I actually..."

Ma Xinyi gave her no chance to explain. His strong body pressed against hers.
