No. 23, Light and Shadow Street

She closed the French window and recalled the memories she had of Light and Shadow Street.

The street was named for the brilliance of the world beneath its evening glow and sunlight. At sunset, if you stood in the street and looked toward the mountain opposite, you would be bathed in a misty glow. A screen stood at the far end of the mountaintop, though it was hard to make out clearly. Xu Cha picked up the map and looked into the distance, imagining the golden light of dusk settling over the green mountain. It was a sight you could see every evening. Light and Shadow Street wasn't large, and every landmark was clearly marked on the map, but the place was filled with a dreamlike charm.

A cozy, sweet little story.

Vivid, lively little goldfish vs. adorable, gentle camellia.

"A world pieced together."

"Why have all the memories stopped moving forward?"

"I love you, my little camellia girl."

"My twenty thousand years of spring and autumn."
