A rough-and-tumble pirate captain, wild as they come and a man of few words (E)

Power couple | Past-life coercion and hate | Redemption and making amends in this life | Beloved by all shou

Yuan Siqiao, governor of Klein Star, is the top Alpha among the planet's elite. Eccentric and wicked, he acts with ruthless efficiency and prefers to keep to himself. He's a venomous beauty, both feared and shrouded in mystery.

One night, he dreams that this world is an old-school, cruel story about chasing after a wife. He's the scum gong who neglected and mistreated the protagonist shou. In the end, he goes blind, becomes crippled, develops severe stomach problems, and has his gland removed. Only after he has suffered every humiliation does the protagonist shou, Lou Yichuan, reluctantly come around, abandon the cannon-fodder gongs who had selflessly devoted themselves to him, and agree to remarry Yuan Siqiao.

Yuan Siqiao, jolted awake in a rage: "This was supposed to be a simple political marriage between business and government. Why are you treating it like real love?"

Governor Yuan soon has another dream.

One of the cannon-fodder gongs turns dark. On the wedding night of Yuan Siqiao and the protagonist shou, he drugs the protagonist shou, pins him to the bed, and takes brutal revenge...

Yuan Siqiao: ?

Isn't this plot a little off?

The marriage is successfully called off, but the cannon-fodder gongs show up early, each harboring deep hostility toward him after the protagonist shou stirs them up.

Yuan Siqiao sneers. Good. I haven't even had a chance to settle the score with them, and they're already delivering themselves to my door.

Using the vague clues from his dreams, he decides to team up with his bodyguard and get revenge ahead of time.

Cannon-fodder gong number one is a commander of an interstellar battleship. He'll be the one to cripple my legs later. He must have done this sort of thing plenty of times before. Investigate him.

Cannon-fodder gong number two is the son of the Alliance Speaker. He's the one who'll blind me and destroy my gland. He abuses his power and treats other people's lives with contempt. He must have plenty of dirt on him. Investigate!

Cannon-fodder gong number three is an entertainment star famous throughout the Alliance. He'll use public opinion to smear me, and he'll be behind the Yuan family's bankruptcy and downfall. An artist with such rotten morals must often throw his weight around because of his celebrity status. Investigate!

Most importantly, investigate the protagonist shou!

Bankruptcy, disability, and disgrace: you can all experience in advance everything I'm supposed to go through in the book.

There is only one cannon-fodder gong whose powerful background makes his identity impossible to uncover, even for Yuan Siqiao's usually all-knowing personal bodyguard.

One day, Yuan Siqiao follows the scar on the man's back from his dreams, grabs his shoulder, and spins him around.

The person before him is the bodyguard he trusts most, an Alliance Class One wanted criminal, and his sworn enemy.

The man closes in step by step. His rough fingertips tremble as they brush Yuan Siqiao's cheek, and he wears a wild, wicked smile.

His eyes are filled with deep desire, but also unmistakable fear.

"You finally remember, my young master."

Yuan Siqiao finally learns who the person from his dreams is, just as he realizes there's no escaping him.

Fu Shuang'ang was born on Exile Planet-3. With his rare Enigma physiology and supernatural abilities, he became the most powerful pirate in the stars.

As the Alliance's most valuable wanted criminal, he has one sworn enemy: Yuan Siqiao.

In his previous life, he roamed the Alliance's many planets, committing every kind of crime and terrifying everyone. Only on Klein Star did he suffer defeat, barely escaping with his life. Later, this governor stole his man and caused his close friend and sworn brother to die horribly, taking everything from him.

Even after he rose again, he could never forgive this man.

To get revenge on Yuan Siqiao, Fu Shuang'ang took out all his resentment on him. Then, on a rainy night, Yuan Siqiao left this world with a relieved smile, leaving Fu Shuang'ang to clutch his cold body and weep in regret.

After being reborn, he went undercover in Klein City ahead of time to target the protagonist shou. He came to Yuan Siqiao's rescue when he was in danger, then became his bodyguard by a twist of fate. Carefully disguising himself as an Omega, he slowly became the person Yuan Siqiao trusted most.

A hazy bud of love sprouts from his desire to atone and repent, but Yuan Siqiao seems to have started dreaming about how Fu Shuang'ang forced himself on him in their previous life.

What should he do?

P.S.

1. Very melodramatic, extremely melodramatic! An old-school scum gong gets reborn and repents plot. Not a typical Alpha-Enigma romance. Lots of original worldbuilding. Both leads were faithful to each other in both their past and present lives.

2. In their past life, the gong used force to take the shou and forced himself on him out of hate, without realizing he loved him. In the end, he died for love, was reborn, and sought redemption by chasing after his wife.

3. The shou has a tendency to attract everyone.
