No matter what role they’re assigned, they can toy with the protagonist from the very beginning, becoming a rare source of hardship on the protagonist’s journey. Then, just as the protagonist hates them enough to wish them dead, they make a clean exit. The only problem is… they’re a little too far ahead of the curve. Because of them, some small-world protagonists stray from the script or even die, triggering the worlds’ self-protection mechanisms. To maintain stability, the employees must be sent back to the worlds where they originally played villains and do it all over again. System 058 receives a notice that the administration’s policy has changed: We’re now focused on collecting the small-world protagonists’ affection points, so this time you’ll be following the romance route! 058 sees black.
